Slow service, to the point we waited 40 min for our order to be taken after waiting 20 minutes to just get drinks. Waitresses had attitudes and it was extremely hot in there! No air flow at all! I also have accepted DoorDash orders from here and now have them on a "do not give me offers from Sawmill" list because they treat DoorDashers even worse than their eat in customers. Horrible.

They have a strange contest where they give you a tack. You provide a dollar bill and a quarter or two to wrap around it. If you can wrap it right and throw it hard enough to get it to stick into a wooden beam in the ceiling then you get a 'free' drink. They told us that when it gets humid everything starts to fall down from the ceiling and it rains quarters and dollar bills. Fun place!

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Bernie Cassangrande, The owner of Bernie's Pub (the building…read morewhich The Alibi resides in) is rolling in his grave. These guys took a beautiful bar with character, stripped it, put in bad lighting, a pathetic alchohol selection, incompetent bartending, exhorbinant prices and a mean crowd that provides a less than enjoyable experience and is NOT representative of an Iron Range good time dive bar. I brought my boyfriend here to show him a cool bar on the Iron Range and instead of being proud, was embarrassed and promptly left after one overpriced beer. The ALibi lost out on at least a 100 dollar drink tab that night. And don't try to play pool, 3 balls don't drop and the table isnt balanced. I highly reccommend passing this joke of a place up and hitting up the Sand Bar for great service and a good time crowd.

I had the shrimp dinner and couldn't believe how good the shrimp was. Crispy on the outside, shrimp was tender and not overcooked! Side salad was fancy too. Also had the bacon Mac as a side. I visited BoomTown this evening for their Taco Tuesday. I ordered the Boom Boom Pulled Pork tacos…read more I have had these many time before, but tonight they were over the top spicy. I talked to the table next to me who agreed, in fact like me the lady at that table ate almost two of her tacos before she couldn't handle it any more. I told them I was having the same difficulty. One waiter said the tacos should be more "sweet" not spicy. Our waitress said others had complained today regarding the spiciness too. I stopped eating my tacos, chips and salsa, since I couldn't identify where the spice was coming from. When I asked my waitress, who had admitted others were complaining, about a discount since I couldn't finish my food since the heat kept building in my mouth. She stated I couldn't get a discount since it was Taco Tuesday so the food was already discounted. Not pleased. To add insult to injury the lady at the table next to me made the same complaint and she was offered new food. I don't know if it was because her husband made the complaint on her behalf, and I was a table of one? Very disappointed in service and food. Sadly I drove by Thirsty Moose who has amazing food, but picked Boomtown tonight. Regretting that decision.
