To start off I'd like to say that I would've given them 4 stars if I didn't have such a horrible customer experience (at the front desk/pick-up ).
I think that the idea of the store is great: order what you want online and pick it up in the store, no hassle like at the apple stores and no pushy sales people. But when you have a great product and the person designated to help the customer leaves a sour taste in your mouth the whole experience is ruined.
I walk in and sit in a chair while I wait for the customer in front of me is finished. Being 7 months pregnant on a hot day, I didn't mind a little wait/rest. The woman with the sun tattoo on her left shoulder calls me and I tell her I'm picking up my order and give her the name it's under. She can't hear me so she asks very sternly to come closer (a speaker was on the counter head level to her playing some music, so I'm sure that didn't help with being able to hear me well). I scoot up and tell her the very English name that the order is in (my husbands) and she asks again sternly and with a little bit of anger to her voice that she doesn't understand me and to spell it out.
At this point I'm not amused with her bad attitude and keep looking at her waiting for her to crack a smile, make a joke or something to lighten the mood about how it's a hard name to find/spell, blah blah, the usual thing I encounter while in a Spanish speaking country. She continues to huff about not finding the order and I give her the order number. Finally I get my product, I make a point to not thank her because the service was awful and I don't think a paying customer should be treated that way. She also doesn't mutter a word. Don't people working in a face to face business thank customers for their patronage?!
I hope for Macnificos sake that she was just subbing in for someone on break and that she is a back of house employee. read more
