I don't know if it's this town but passing through, the men are pretty nice. As a woman who believes in uplifting other women, I was appalled by how rude every single woman here was. They all had that look you get when your animal poops in the bed despite knowing better. It doesn't leave a good impression. The cashier looked so lost at her job. She was the only woman not rude or acting like she had a chip on her shoulder but she didn't look like she wanted to be there either. At 7 am, this place wasn't very busy and yet it took the cashier forever to remember I wanted a receipt, even after I asked for it twice. The gas pumps work, I guess? Not very clean. Gift shop definitely not worth the prices. If you don't need to stop, try to go on to the next town.

As if she didnt remember she told us that same script 30mins prior. It wasn't just my family and I that was waiting it was others as well. I must say the workers in the Loves area was very attentive and helpful. However, the food like hot dogs etc was limited since many opt for that since the food portion of the gas station was "open" but really closed. What a waste of time. Im sure the owner wouldnt be happy about sales walking out the door.

This is my fourth time passing through the town of Ozona, Texas. Second time at this gas station…read more I had to gas up the moving truck that I was driving, which is the total came out to about $90. I went inside and grabbed a cup, filled it with only ice and went up to the register. The girl told me it was going to be $1.50 for the cup of ice. I asked her again. It's only ice. I didn't get a soda and she said you pay full price. I have been to thousands of gas stations across the west from Texas all the way to the West Coast to Washington in Canada, but I have never been charged more than $.50 for a cup of ice. Most of the time when I'm filling up my vehicle with gas, they tell me just take the ice don't worry about it the inside was dirty and the food that was sitting in the rotating hot dog look like they had been there for five days. It was only 9 o'clock in the morning. Do yourself a favor and stop at a different gas station!

Bill and Frank came to our rescue after we collided with a deer in rural west Texas! The initial…read moretow company that retrieved us in the night did not contract with AAA so we spent the night in Ozona while our insurance found a tow and ride for us to the Austin area. I would like to THANK Bill and Frank for making us feel comfortable and entertained during the 4 1/2 hour drive!! They seriously could star in a sitcom named, "Two Texans and a tow truck!" Also, grateful for the follow up from Bill to explain where they delivered the car and keys as it was after hours at the auto shop and we needed to retrieve items from it the next day after we rented a car. On a separate note, drivers beware in Texas for those dang suicide Deer!!
