Beyond amazing!!! I had ordered a ring from a different jeweler. When I open the box one of the stones had come out of the setting. The Jeweler wanted me to ship it back to them in order to fix it. I'm planning on proposing this Thursday 3 days from now. I looked up MacKinnon Jewelers here on yelp. I am beyond thrilled to give them a five-star review! I walked in and was greeted with a smile and a how can I help you. I explained my predicament Tom, the owner brought the ring back to his Workshop dropped the stone back in no fuss no muss. When I asked how much I owed him he said this one was on him. I will definitely be back to buy some jewelry from this store and I will keep coming back to have any repair on jewelry done. If you value your time, do not go to this bare and switch shop. They quoted me one price. Then they said that size is no longer available. The next available size was three times the size and price. After receiving the product, it was the original size, but still three times the price. Then I was told it is a misunderstanding after I was told specifically that it was a much larger size. Absolutely bare and switch. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM ANYTHING!! You will never know wha you get!! RUN!! read more

MacKinnons is our go to jeweler. My husband has bought about 2 Pandoras worth of charms from here. When we got engaged, it was a no brainier where to go for my engagement ring. And then of course our wedding bands. We always see Debbie when we come in. She is the sweetest! She always asks how my husband is when I come in, and always offers to clean my ring. Wonderful experience with Mackinnon jewelers. I had several pieces that needed to be repaired including a heirloom ring that was massively damaged I was told by other jewelers that there is no way the ring can be repaired to its original state. BUT Mackinnon jewelers repaired the squashed ring to its original design the gentleman behind the counter is most knowledgeable and extremely talented with his craftmanship. After driving all over Pinellas and Pasco counties for 4 days looking for a specific style gold cross for my fiancé, to have engraved after the passing of his beloved Mother, I finally found McKinnon's!! As soon as I spoke to Tom I knew this was the right place. He knew exactly what I was looking for ( which couldn't be found in the catalogs at the other places) So Tom made it for me!!! This request was different because I wanted a personalized engraving on the back in Spanish (neither of us speak Spanish btw) but Tom again said no problem, then contacted a friend of his from Costa Rica, to do the perfect translation for me! I mean come on... I couldn't believe the heart this man put into my request! He instantly cared about me and what I needed this gift to be the minute he met me. This Jeweler Rhodium Plated my vintage design wedding ring without explaining what they were going to do. They told my husband they would shine it up for him. Little did he know that meant that they would be coating the entire ring in rhodium plating over my beautiful ring. Ruining the vintage look to my ring. I have been looking for a men's ring with specific stones and color for the past 7-8 yrs and have not been able to find what I was looking for. They have great service and are very friendly. They provide beautiful wrapping!!! They are organized and have a great selection. One tiny issue I had was stopping in for a Pandora sale. I will say, they stayed open on the weekend to do the sale and I know it was extremely busy. I came in later in the day and wanted to look for just a few minutes. I was rushed and others who came in after me were rung up and helped before me. It got frustrating, but I might have been in the same mood after the rush of the 2 day sale. My husband just bought me a ring there this past weekend :) We will be back, just get to the Pandora sales early. read more
