Not only did we get to see the world's largest T. Rex, this entire museum did a fantastic job showing the history of Saskatchewan. Fantastic. We have never seen a police and history museum like this one - it's breathtaking and fascinating, with something for everyone. Static displays of equipment entertain folks who are into vehicles. Historical artifacts populate comprehensive and very well done exhibits that chronicle the history of the RCMP and its key figures. We were especially interested in the history of the RCMP units in various wars, where RCMP Mounties converted to soldiers, and back again to police after their service commitments were met. Interactive exhibits cover modern policing methods and science, such as forensics and anti-terrorism missions. And the tram tour that is included with admission gives insight into the training and commitment required of a flexible, modern, multi-threat policing agency. We spent about 3 hours here - much longer than we had anticipated. That's the level of quality and presentation here. A must if you are in Regina!…read more RCMP are a historic part of our country and especially the West. The museum is very interesting with the displays and video presentations. Take a a guided tour of Depot it is so informative and the respect I gained for what our officers go through to serve and protect is commendable to say the least. The gift shop is loaded with RCMP themed gifts, clothes and trinkets. The children "had to" get a tshirt! Our children are aged 4 to 18yrs and we all had a great afternoon at the Heritage Centre.

The centre is quite small compared to some of the other science centres (Toronto, Seattle) so you can easily do it in an afternoon.

It is a most hands on science center I have been to. My favorite thing here is the human bubble. I love that you can stand inside a bubble you make and not get wet. I also love that they have animals that you can play with if a trainer has them out at the time. Ever since I was a kid my family has loved this place. Every time we go to Regina we come here. We also always catch an IMAX show when we visit.

Beautiful old historic home in Regina…read more What a lovely place to visit. The home was once lived in by SK's Lieutenant Governors. It is no longer a residence but a museum. Take the guided tour you will learn a lot. Every room is meticulously decorated with period decor and furniture. The basement has a play room for little kids. It is worth venturing down there. They have dress up clothes and a wonderful set up for imaginative play. They also offer monthly Victorian Teas which we have not partaken in yet. But we have reservations. So I'll update later. If you come to Regina I highly recommend a stop at Government House. The admission is free. But they have a donation box.
