Been a part of this gym since the grand opening of this location, and I'll be a part of it even if…read moreI stopped training Muay Thai all together-- the reason I can say this is because when you join this gym, you're joining more than just a place to get your cardio fix or learn self-defense... you're joining the most dynamic, dysfunctional, hilarious and loyal family you could ever hope to be a part of. The two coaches, Ryan Castillo and Bruce Chacon, welcome anyone from "I've never trained a day in my life" to "I'm an experienced professional" and give everyone the same amount of respect, attention to technique and motivation. Workouts are designed to be high intensity and consist of high volume with a combination of body weight and kettle bell oriented workouts but you're welcomed to train at your own pace! Even if you're looking to get an intense cardiovascular workout or learn how to defend yourself, you'll be gaining invaluable knowledge from experienced professionals and you'll develop a greater self-confidence and respect from your peers! The idea of joining a "martial arts gym" can be intimidating, but I promise once you give this gym a try, you'll be inviting everyone you know to be a part of the family too!

Muay Thai has been life saving and an outlet for my busy and stressful work life. Beautifully violent has created a safe and supported space for me to meet new people, learn life saving skills (self defense), and develop a love for a sport I never knew I needed. The coach's are very supportive and accommodating to new members and have worked hard in creating an environment of family. Coach Ryan and coach Bruce teach with heart and patience. Best decision I made was to be part of this gym!

Love and miss this place so much. Best coaches ever…read more Parents, be very careful where you take your kids to. We got out of a place where the owner was a crazy, psychotic guy who couldn't even keep a good relationship with his employees so he was short staffed and he was the one giving the classes to the little ones. He pinched one of my kids who was only 4 years at the time and left a big bruise on his right arm. When I confronted him, he got all nasty. I left his place and wrote a bad review on his business. He threatened me and continued to call my husband several times a day so that I would delete the bad review from his page. That guy was definitely mentally unstable. No wonder his business is closed! After doing a more careful research of where to take our kids, we found SoCal Fight Factory. I regret not finding this place before and exposing my kids to danger by taking them with that psychotic brazilian guy in Palmdale on Grand Cypress Ave . SoCal Fight Factory is a safe place for kids. The coaches are Amazing. They all earned our respect and admiration. My kids learned so much from their coaches, specially from Marco. We miss this place so much. Unfortunately, we had to move out of California and we haven't been able to find another place like SoCal Fight Factory. To be honest, what we miss more from California besides the weather is SoCal Fight Factory.

I honestly regret signing up here. I paid about $100 to be trained, not to be treated like a child…read more Instead of focusing on helping me improve my boxing, the coach seemed more interested in telling me what to do and what I could and couldn't wear. I was wearing a hoodie, and he kept telling me to take it off. I politely said no because I was comfortable wearing it. Instead of respecting my decision or simply explaining why it mattered, he told me to "go sit down." That was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Good coaches know how to communicate with people. If there's a safety concern or a gym policy, explain it with respect. Don't embarrass paying members or act like you're their parent. I came to learn boxing, not to be ordered around over something as simple as a hoodie. The coaching and customer service were disappointing, and the way I was treated made me feel completely unwelcome. There are plenty of boxing gyms that know how to treat their members with respect. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this gym based on my experience very unprofessional. I paid to be coached, not to be disrespected. Because of the way I was treated, I won't be coming back. I hope you learn to communicate with your members more professionally and treat paying customers with the respect they deserve.
