Let's start at the beginning, I walked in with no appointment and was told that my deep tissue massage with hot stones was going to be $80 , which is more than reasonable and that I would have to pay before receiving my massage which I completely understood and complied with. The lady whose name I should've gotten, passed me a receipt for a total of $86.40. I was confused since she did not mention my total being $86.40 prior to charging me, so I asked and she said it was for tax so I just noted that as red flag number 1 and went on about my massage since I had already paid. I get back and get undressed and lay down and told her that I just wanted my back to be worked on and she seemed confused but then said ok and mentioned something about my feet and I asked her if a feet massage was included? She paused and said uhhhh yeah, since she didn't seem too sure I asked again because I didn't want to be hit with an extra charge. I asked so I won't be charged extra for a feet massage because it's included in the $86.40 I already paid, and she said yes so I said okay then I'll also get that. She worked on my back and I could definitely understand the previous reviews about her not using enough lotion, it didn't bother me much but I could see how someone could be uncomfortable. Then she finished working on my back and instructed me to turn around so that she could work on my feet. I turned around and as working on my feet it did feel pretty good so I was starting to doze off. Idk if she saw me dozing off or if she was distracted by something else but I gently wake up and feel her not even working on my feet just rubbing my skin with the same amount of force you would rub a newborn with, no none. I tried to move to give her some cues that I am still up and feel her and she would continue to apply more pressure to my feet but then would stop as soon as I stopped moving. I was highly confused as to why she wasn't moving or massaging, and the I heard the timer go off. So I'm not 100% sure but my guess is that she was waiting out the timer. The timer goes off and I open my eyes as she finishing so she's knows that I am very much still up. She instructed me to get dress and to meet her outside. I get outside to finish signing my receipt to add tip, because of how she barley massaged my feet and the fact that she did not tell me how much I was paying before I actually paid, I wanted to make my total $90 so I left a $3.60 tip. This woman was staring me down as I'm filling out the receipt which made me very uncomfortable. Normally I'm really good at tipping and will tip between $10-$20 at least because I understand that massaging is a very physical job and requires much physical labor for the satisfaction of one customer. But after leaving that place I'm glad I only gave her $3.60. I finishing writing the tip and total on the receipt, I said thank you, and as I'm about to walk out she said hold on how much? She looks at the receipt and said only $3. I said yes I wanted to even out my total so I made it $90. She then said you're only giving me a $3 tip, so I reiterated yes I wanted to make my total $90. She then looks at me crazy up and down and the ok goodbye and I ok thank you goodbye. Overall my experience could've gone a lot better, and her customer service skills need to improve. I would recommend going there for a decent experience. I would go back to give it a second chance but after the look she gave me I don't think I'm welcomed back lol.
