The main building has glass windows so you can see some of the store fronts inside. Walking in around 9:30am on a Saturday morning there were a handful of early shoppers though not enough to make it crowded. There are about 20-25 total vendors, butchers, grocers, bakeries, convenience, florist, juice bar and clothing/accessories shops. A couple ethnic stores (Latin American and E Asian) from what I could tell. This is located in a less touristy part of town so prices looked overall pretty reasonable. There's not a lot of places to sit and enjoy any drinks/take away food, though there are a couple picnic tables outside and you could potentially pick somewhere along some stairs in the open square area next to the market if you need.

What's interesting about this butcher from others is that they can cook your meat for you if that's what you want. How neat is that! La Polpetta Della Nonna was amazing. Basically, a meatball but coated in I don't know what and then fried. Delicious on the inside and the outside. Available cooked or for take away. Yum! The "meat on a stick" turned out to be lamb in a subtle seasoning. I don't know what they call it - just show them the picture and tell them that's what you want. Delicious!
