This park is actually really nice, and quite large as well. Obviously, the name suggests that it is…read moreactually where the war memorial is located, but the park is so big that it can be tricky finding it (it is located at the other side of the lake, opposite the church). I actually found that it was really, quite pleasant, and it is a lovely place to simply relax and spend some time, especially if you aren't keen on actually spending any money. Oh, and the lake is really nice as well.
