They offer bike insurance for an additional price (not included in the iAmsterdam pass) and they seemed to have a slight attitude when I declined, but overall my experience was still good. I did see someone run over a beer bottle cap at the park which popped their tires, so maybe the bike insurance isn't so bad of an idea. The employees ensure that the bike frame and seat height fits and that we know how to use the locking mechanism before we get sent out. Bikes are in decent condition, functional for the most part, but could be better.

They are fabulous. I rented a bike for 2+ weeks and probably rode 100 miles on that thing. It was awesome. They put a bag on it, adjusted the brakes halfway through and were so helpful. I've used a bike for 3 days, returned very clean barely touched because details were falling apart and I just disliked the quality. They refused to reimburse the full price even though it was bought just a few days ago. The owner just plainly lied to my face that they will lose €20 on bank transactions alone and when I said I will gladly accept cash he said he doesn't have any, then after negotiating a return price to 2/3 of the original he just got out the wallet and paid in cash. The location seems like it's far from the center, but really only ten minutes cycling gets you to most nearly all the main sites in Amsterdam, so much faster than the tram and cheaper too. So right now it's just bike and accessory sales which includes a multicolor gradient 9 Straatjes Edition. Still a nice space in a rather touristy spot. Friendly Brompton enthusiasts working there (like every other Brompton shop honestly). I took a titanium flat bar demo bike out for a spin, unfolded it outside around a crowd of onlookers. Got a ton of "ooh-ahhs" and applause when did the last step and flipped the bike open. Cute indeed.
