It was a pretty important one because it came from a character in a play that he performed in. My mother-in-law asked me what I thought we could use to temporarily fix it for the evening, so my search for super glue began. We didn't really have enough time to drive far to a store, so I ran down to the Aldi in the same shopping center, but there was nothing useful there. Then to the 7 eleven on the corner. Nope. Walking back, dejected, I thought maybe that nail salon would have something I could buy. I poked my head in, like a middle aged straight guy who's never considered going into a nail salon. They could see it on my face. "Yep, this guys having a day." After explaining the situation, she said "we don't sell items individual items, only services." That's when she did something unexpected. She reached behind the counter and cut open a little vile of nail glue. "Here it's on the house. Just try not to get any on your skin" I ran back to the restaurant and fixed the figurine. These people are genuine saints. Although I have never had my nails done at all, I thought about going back and getting a manicure just to show my appreciation. Needless to say I hope good karma comes their way for their generosity.

She was in a different mood and did a bad job and kept burning my nail with the file. (She always does good) Noticed 2 were not completed. Went today to get it redone and tech made me bleed and literally said "ok" and left to the back so she wouldn't have to deal with me saying anything about her cutting me. I was also charged for a "shape" and I did not request a special shape. I paid cash so got a "15%" discount but they always round up as well. Original $45 for short dip nails with "15%" off and charged me $39. I don't mind the .75 but they did it every single time. I always tip as well and this is not great customer service. This salon is never really busy and it really shows why. The manager/owner does not care about customer care.

I was talked to very rudely by the male owner. I just can't seem to get over it. My daughter called me just as I sat in the chair. She was telling me hello and I was in the process of telling her I could not talk (no joke... not on phone for more than 30 seconds) when the owner told me, quite loudly, to "... you need to put that up...". I did put it up. I sat quietly and listen to him loudly talk to various people about a trip he had taken... and I paid for my hair, leaving my stylist a tip and I left. I will not return. My daughter was in labor. I didn't find out till after I got out of the salon because I abruptly cut her off when I was scolded. I was NOT speaking loudly nor was I intending to continue to speak with her... but, really... I have the right to speak quietly on the phone. Perhaps I would be rude but I would be a rude CUSTOMER. I don't feel that I was rude, but I own that speaking on a phone in public can be viewed as such - but so is the way he spoke to me. He could have spoken to me in a decent tone... he could have given me a moment... he could have done a lot of things besides using the tone of voice that he did use. I will spend my money elsewhere.
