DON'T GO TO MACC DENTAL!! OK I went for a check up about 4 months ago and I was advised I needed two fillings even thought they were not causing me any pain. I went two weeks ago (had baby in between) to have these fillings and a scale and polish.
Firstly the detist I saw was very rough and caught my gum and lip a few times with the drill. Then they tried to drown me by not sucking out the excess moisture from the water jet. He did the two fillings - one was fine the other was a mess. He got filling on the tooth next to the one I had done and got it in between my teeth. He used a file!!!! to clean up the filling between my teeth afterwards, he caught my gum with it which was very unpleasent. The day after I had my filling the one he bodged up came out leaving a really sharp edge on my tooth.
I have been back to my previous dentist today to find out that the scale and polish had not been done correctly and the filling he put in was too small. He also missed at the check up a huge filling that needed doing in one of my back teeth (at no point were xrays taken). Overall I was not impressed and have returned to my good old faithful dentist for further teatments to correct the work of the Macc dental dentist. read more
