She then said she would refund my deposit (on July 18), and still has NOT REFUNDED ME despite my multiple attempts to contact her and get my money back. He walked me through all the phases of the facial and the benefits! Knowing the experience David has in this industry and the great esthetician offerings he has was definitely a reason I booked. I also scheduled a hair consultation with Mary after my facial to discuss some sizeable challenges I was having with my hair. I was able to get scheduled shortly after on an evening appointment (which are on Thursdays as of the time of this review). Mary spent a lot of time talking with me on what I wanted, what my problem areas/concerns were with my existing color, how we could make a plan and made sure we were both very comfortable before the color went in! I am just thrilled with the outcome and she is an expert colorist! She was very transparent about pricing and realistic expectations with what we could and could not do in order to achieve the best outcome. All while trying to figure out my hair as a new client. They will ask you some questions to see if you are more of a cool or warm tone person, do you want frost (think light shimmer, not 1980's!) matte, gloss, cream base. You can even flavor it with pink champagne or raspberry truffle! I love bright colors so that's what we went with. You watch them make it right before your eyes. Legit, one of the coolest things I've ever experienced! I love my new colors! One is bright magenta and the other one just has some more red in it along with a touch of frost and moisturizer! The color was horrid; the hair itself was severely damaged. I was convinced my only option was to cut most of it. "No, not true," Naieem said. The gentleman bolstered me in a matter of minutes. He had a plan. I knew my in-depth research had been successful. I'm unable to recall the plan specifics. Naieem is more of a Picasso, not paint by numbers. After the color turned out marvelously it was time for the harsh haircut. No. My hair was healthier. My ends were not hay, they were silky smooth. I only needed a little cut from my hair. Naieem's talent overflows. I doubt my hair has ever looked or felt better. I cannot imagine going anywhere else in the future. I want to share a couple of things I feel are significant. Emmett's The Studio has the kindest, most thoughtful, funny, joyful and professional team. I left not just over the moon about my stunning hair but also with a full and happy heart.
