If there was a rating higher than five stars, I would gladly give it. I bought two pets from Mabry Labs. They are highly reputable and what is most important, they genuinely care about each of their puppies. I purchased a yellow lab in Spring, 2013 and love him so much that I got another pup (same parents) in June, 2014. They are full brother/sister. Mabry takes exceptional care from the very first day that these puppies are born. I potty trained both my puppies in less than a week because of the care and conditions the puppies were kept in prior to me taking them home. The dogs know that they potty on grass, not in their sleep areas. Mabry Labs does a tremendous job of physically handling all their puppies so that the pups are socialized properly. They also help to train the new owners with continual updates/reminders about food consumption, heartworm preventative, etc. There has been many occasion where I had a question and Mabry Labs would get back to me with her advice almost immediately. It is a relationship I have built with this breeder. I will forever have one or two of their puppies for as long as they are in the business. I have recommended Mabry Labs to many people because I truly believe they are the best around. I have been a dog owner for 48 years and have gotten several dogs from breeders, only to be disappointed with health problems from puppies that were inbred. These are champion dogs. One of my labs is an outstanding hunter and he was very easy to train. I don't think my words can truly do Mabry Labs justice! I have had my pup (a Babe and Buster litter) since October (just turned 10 months old!), and he is honestly one of the best dogs I have ever had or encountered. Where to start... Well first off, potty training was ridiculously easy! Within a month of being home (probably less, actually) the pup (Rodger) no longer had to go out in the middle of the night and did not have anymore accidents. From at least 3 months of age and on this puppy had some amazing bladder control! Training: so, so, so easy! Knew all the basics by 3 months old. So smart, I could barely believe it! We have continued his training and are working on becoming an AKC Good Citizen. Kennel: It is basically his home. He loves his kennel. He is super well behaved in there and never makes noise. I've never got a noise complaint from any neighbors about him, even as a tiny puppy. Rodger has also been super flexible. At 7 months old I shook his world upside down by moving us across the country. He has adjusted to the move better than I have. He went from a city dog to the Pacific Northwest, where now he goes on hikes, swimming, and more. Everyone who meets Rodger loves him. He has got such a fun personality and is just such a lover. After going to many other breeders my husband and I picked Mabry Labs for our puppy. They have answered questions over the last year that we asked after we brought home our girl in 2016. Their kennel was clean and absent of dog odors. Was highly pleased with the paperwork that was given to us when we picked up our puppy. She only cried a little the first night home and was housebroken within two days. She is very smart and we get lots of compliments on how beautiful she is. These breeders are great. Went to then after losing my lab to old age. They went above and beyond what I expected. Potty training was super easy and puppy had no accidents in crate. Cried a little first night, then after that slept from 9 pm to 5 am. Training has been a breeze and went to classes with the puppy and has done excellent. We just brought home our new puppy from Mabry a week ago. They were so easy to work with. We were able to see photos of the puppies every week and drove to their home to pick him up. The farm was an amazing place for the dogs. The parents were onsite and were absolutely beautiful. We are so happy with our new dog. He has a great personality!
