We were three on a Wednesday and we walked in based on Yelp reviews. Of course I ordered the dumpling soup. OMG!!! Very savoury. We split the papaya salad. It had some kick. Please remember their food has heat. . I think they spice by Thai standards. So it was plenty spicy for me. Mr friend went for Basil beef. A little too much for her. I had the pork red curry. Very nice . The other contestant at this delicious banquet had the chicken. It was in a peanut type sauce. So this "authentic Thai" meal was devine. We're coming back. Friday and Saturday gets very busy. Reserve. Oh btw its a BYOB. It can't get any better. Enjoy!

This one was at Kilometre marker 174 off highway 40 which was a fantastic rest stop. There is also an A&W (if Asian is not your speed or liking) and a really cool gas station market and gift shop all under the same roof that you can browse around after your meal. My main meal at TE is Pad Sew chicken medium spice. This location did not disappoint with a healthy serving of Chinese broccoli, sauce noodles and chicken. It was prepared just as I had envisioned it. I ate it with a spring roll (not much flavour) and a coconut water for something different. In the seating are there was a nice flat screen where I caught some of the Habs game. I'd return to this location as with the gas station gift shop and comfortable area I'd declare this an above average experience Thai express. Plus it seems newer so it's fresh and cool. Hope this place ages well as time passes.
