Thought the price was a little steep but was assured that the car would be washed "at least 4 times" and thoroughly cleaned. When we came to pick it up it was sitting outside. Checked it out and looked good but was still a bit stale inside. Talked to the gentleman at the desk and he said that's because we didn't pay for the additional interior shampoo - Wait, What? Not included in the $169?? Nope. When we got home and opened the car up and really looked at it there were some trouble spots. Dirt in the back hatch area and leaves under the hood. Not a bad job but nowhere near the care that was advertised. Average.

They didn't have the parts, said they would call when parts are in.Two weeks later I called and the parts were in (thanks for the call), I made a fourth stop/appointment. They put some new parts on the bottom but never addressed all the damage and noise. They never finished the work. All of which is described in the report and paid for by me and my, Insurance company. They then said "it's probably a tie rod and they'll have to take it somewhere else to determine if the damage and noise was due to the accident".... Yes, it was, on the report and PAID to Sonny's to fix! I have used Sonny's for 30+ years, the latest ownership ain't no Sonny. The travel and time spent so far on this PAID for job is now more than I've spent on the deductable. I do not recommend, nor trust this shop. I will repair it out of my own pocket rather than get them a opportunity to not fix the agreed upon paid for work. As of now five 72 mile trips to have my car not fixed. Cheaper to deal with it locally, by a trustworthy business. caveat emptor

I signed up for the best monthly package offered ($40 month) and I noticed no difference in quality or wash compared to their cheapest wash or even to the auto wash at Meijer for $7. The vacuums and air guns they have on site are great and work well, the wash just doesn't have a noticeable difference, so I'd suggest only getting the cheapest wash they offer. I tried to switch my subscription to the lowest amount (or cancel in general) because I like to wash my Trailhawk 2x a week, but clearly the agent I spoke to via email had a hard time grasping this and would rather take none of my money and cancelled my subscription. My car became undrivable before their loaner was available, so I had to bring it in early. At drop-off, I spoke with Mary Jean, who agreed over the phone that I could pay the repair balance in installments since I needed to use my savings to purchase a temporary beater car. Based on that agreement, I went ahead and bought an inexpensive vehicle and waited for the repairs. Once the work was completed, the entire agreement was suddenly denied. I was then contacted by Deb, who immediately began pressuring me to either pay the full balance upfront or sell my car to them at an extremely low and unrealistic price. When I refused, she informed me they would start charging $100 per month just to keep my repaired vehicle on the lot--something never disclosed in advance. She repeatedly referenced a supposed "normal" rate of $100 per day as if it were a threat, even though none of this was part of the original conversation with Mary Jean. The behavior felt strategic and manipulative, designed to corner me into selling them my car. When I arrived with the $2,000 I had borrowed from a friend, the visible shock on Deb's face said everything--she clearly expected I'd have no choice but to give in. The entire situation made me feel like they were taking advantage of someone they assumed couldn't push back. The store manager refused to speak with me by phone and insisted on email only, adding to the frustration. Throughout the ordeal, I received dismissive remarks, including being told I "couldn't be trusted" to pay--even though their last-minute changes were the only reason the situation escalated. I genuinely cannot understand how a business operates this way and stays open. Between the shifting terms, undisclosed fees, pressure tactics, and lack of basic professionalism, this was one of the worst experiences I've had with any repair shop. I would strongly advise others to avoid Olsen's entirely.
