In addition to this, I have more than 15 years experience as a woodworker and have a wealth of knowledge in the world of woodworking and furniture design/build to help you with your next project. We've been in business officially for 7 years, but our woodworking experience is over 20 years. We love what we do and live serving our community.

Meet the Business Owner: Matthew M.

Hi! My name is Matt Morgan. I like to consider myself a wood aficionado. I love building things and working with all materials, but primarily wood is my passion. I have come a long way in 15 years since I started woodworking, but it really started since I was a child watching my father; he is an amazing craftsman and can build anything he desires with the highest level of complexity and quality! My venture in the lumber business all started early 2017 when I had to cut down a tree and decided to have it milled at a local sawmill rather than burning it. Being the woodworker I am, I knew it would go to good use. One thing led to another and I started my own business harvesting hardwood trees for the purpose of making into lumber. I now have my own mill and will be building my own kiln in 2019 to be able to serve all my customers needs. Contact me today for your next project!

He removed a load-bearing wall between the kitchen and formal living room (which was never used), gutted an old shower area in the master bath and installed a new shower area, and built a new deck on the back of the house. We had an emergency water leak (that was not related to any of the work) and he and Rob spent a day running a new water line to the house for us. I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience it was have Chris and Rob do the work. . . And, they did it in a timely manner. I highly recommend Finchum Construction!
