I'm a pretty frugal guy, so my ideal wedding photographer would be my friends with digital cameras. Alas, that viewpoint is not shared by my wife, so the next best option was Mark Campbell. He was very reasonable and absolutely top-tier. We received the photos via DVD today and they are perfect. He even created a photo label for the DVD... cool added touch, whereas he could have simply written on it with a Sharpie. Also, included was an extra DVD copy for each of our families. At the wedding, he did his thing and directed the photo shoots and was just super organized and energetic. Highly, highly recommend Mark for your Chicagoland events.

However I can attest to his character and people skills. Mark has the perfect temperament for a photographic artist, he is able to make people comfortable in a short space of time and works in a relaxed approachable fashion in order to bring the best out of his subjects. The photo session took about an hour and a half, and she was great with our 9 month old daughter! In 90 minutes, we had several outfit changes and diaper changes, and still wound up with a great selection of excellent photos to choose from. After the photo session, Kim called us a few weeks later to let us know that the photos were ready to view. We met her at her house, and she projected the photos on the wall so that we could see them nice and big, the size that we would be ordering. She had coffee, tea, and snacks for us, and set the photos to a slideshow for us to enjoy. We were stressed out about having to choose only a few photos from such a great selection, but she helped us through the selection process and we were able to decide on a great grouping of pictures to order. We are currently waiting for our photos to be delivered. Will update review when we receive our final product. Overall, a great experience so far, and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for very high-quality prints to hang in their home!
