Do not waste time/money at this place. Could not do a simple tire change. Went from a 150 /65 R16 to a 180/65. They said they could not get it to hold air. That it was not possible. I left with the new tire on the wheel but not on all the way. Still charged me the $70 dollars. Went down the road to another shop where the guy was able to get the tire on all the way without a single issue and didn't charge me half of the price these guys did. I brought a tire in for a new valve stem. They told me it would be about 45 minutes. I was back in 15 and it was already done. I was pretty stoked about it. Until they rang me up for $75. Minus the $6 valve stem, they charged almost $70 for labor. For a 10 minute job that equates to $420/hr. SMH Being as I was in a bind, I had to put their greed aside, I paid the bill and went back to the bike. Once I got the tire remounted I realized they had kept the axle cover the speed sensor attaches to. By this time they were closed and the bike had to sit another night on the side of the road. The service manager (Eric) tried to put it back on me for the plate being on there. Greedy. Incompetent. Derelict. A Trifecta! read more

This place cares... to make a sale. And then once the sale is made they could care less. If you bring a vehicle in to get worked on, you will be disappointed. For one they take forever, second they aren't capable of calling you if anything goes wrong, and once the miracle of them completing the job happens, they still don't even call to notify you. I have purchased various vehicles from here, even then they could care less that 30+ k client had problems. If you can find a different store, go for it!!! read more

The next day, we get a call, "You're bike is a "vintage" bike and we have to send it to Black Mountain because we don't work on anything over 20 years." Not one thing was said when we dropped it off. I Purchased a UTV last month from MR Motorcycle. It was by far the worse sales experience I have ever had. The salesman knew the machine. Which was great!!! but had no idea about the thousands of dollars in Freight Dealer prep fees and so forth that were attached to the sale. The added a 3.5% additional fee to the bill for me using a credit card to put down on the machine. If that wasnt the worse (because I had no idea until I went to pay for it, I was told "The Computer" automatically charges sales tax on that 3.5% Payment. So, I ended up paying the 7% sales tax on a credit card fee!!!! How is this even legal??? His reply was oh everyone is doing this now restaurants us and etc... I myself am an entrepreneur who talks credit cards for payment for services and I don't charge my clients this fee. It's a cost of doing business!!! I guess as long as the state is collecting the can charge can make anything subject to sales tax, but no one knew about this when we were discussing the machine. It was a typical hard sell!! In addition to the financing guys selling me the vehicle maintenance package that was 60% of the sales price of the machine!!! Obviously, I declined all the packages and then we went to the title. He said actually itis not a title it's a certificate of origin and it really means nothing. I showed him the back and I replied it looks like a title to me whereas I would fill out my information as the purchaser to obtain a certificate of origin in my name His reply was no nothing will go there. I received it a month after the purchase they said they had to wait until my check cleared to send it.... a month ago??? And sure enough, on the back is my name address and even a notary stamp! I have used them before when I bought a UTV from them 15 years ago. Didn't have any of these issues. My intention of notifying the Department of Revenue of how the sales tax is collected is also on my list of things to do. I know you all need a machine and yes, they have them. They also have a lot of people who ordered them and are waiting to come in. If you can my advice would be to use a different dealership. I am giving them one star because of the salesperson knowing all about the UTV. read more

When shopping the Atlanta and surrounding areas for a good deal on a used 90cc quad for my daughter, I wasn't finding much...so I expanded my search and found a listing for MR Motorcycle in Asheville. I called and spoke with Tom at length about that unit, got comfortable with a price and the stated condition, and made a trip 4 hours north to go see it in person. It was exactly what Tom described. From the time I walked in the door, to delivery of the unit, the entire staff made me feel at home, and made completing the deal SUPER quick and simple. BUYER BEWARE. Apparently it is their parts department policy to steal from you if you don't pick up your part in 60 days. So get this....I ordered a clutch cable form them and another supplier at the same time. Theirs was on back order and the other place had it in stock. I figured I would just keep the one from these clowns when it came in since I already PAID for it. When it did arrive I never received and call or text saying it was in. So I had to contact them and ask if it was in. I don't ever go that way but today I was so I figured I would stop by. Yes its' been a few months since I ordered it but I paid for it. Only to get there today and find out it was returned. NOT JUST RETURNED BUT NO CREDIT WAS GIVEN. It is their policy to return any part in 60 days and YOU will forfeit your "Deposit". I paid in FULL...that's not what a deposit is or means. This is not only the worst policy I've ever come across (I used to be a parts counterman) but these guys are clueless. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. This business promised a lot and delivered NOTHING. Being that I was interacting with this company from over-seas, you'd think that E-Mail correspondence would be extremely important. This company does not take that view at all. I ordered parts 7th May 2015, Which were listed as "In Stock" on the website, paid for my order and waited. I received confirmation of my order but no tracking number or anything for the package, which I thought odd... A few weeks later, after hearing nothing and being eager to begin the re-build on my bike I e-mailed the contact given for over-seas orders (Brad), asking the status of my order and seeing if I could get a tracking number to see where my package is at. I received no reply. Fast forward a week, I e-mailed again, yet again NO REPLY. I waited, sent multiple e-mails, one month later~ And after receiving ZERO correspondence via e-mail, I sought their direct contact phone number, and waited up until almost midnight local time to call the store when they opened. I spoke directly to the person I was e-mailing (Brad)' It was in this phone call that I was told that they are having trouble getting my pistons. but should be sent within a week. Brad also told me that he replied to my e-mails, and when I said I had not received them he said "They must have gone to junk mail" I advised him that not only will a reply to a direct sent e-mail NOT go to junk, but that i had been checking my junk folder daily to ensure that was not the case. I asked Brad to read-back the e-mail address they had there for me, to ensure it hadn't been sent somewhere else, he read it back to me correctly. I decided to wait yet again, as he did say that they'd be sent in a week... I called again (as e-mails had proven fruitless obviously) he then told me that they had 1 piston in stock, and that the manufacturer was making the other piston and as soon as they received it, all the parts would be sent. I waited again, sent more e-mails, again NO REPLY... I called 2nd week of August, NOW MORE THAN 3 MONTHS after the order was placed. I spoke to Ken, (who was surprisingly helpful, and actually responded via e-mail). Ken advised me that Brad was on holidays, and that he'd have a look into it and let me know what he found. He Called the supplier and later e-mailed me to let me know that this pistons for my bike were now DISCONTINUED and could no longer be ordered.... and that the parts were discontinued in late July!!! MONTHS AFTER THE ORDER WAS PLACED. WHAT WAS BEING DONE IN THE TIME UNTIL THEN?????? Ken advised he'd talk to Brad when he returned from his time off, and get Brad to get in touch with me with more information. Less than 3 Days later, the amount initially paid was refunded into my account with STILL NO INFORMATION. I E-mailed Ken to seek some additional information, and he advised that the refund had been completed, and gave me some leads to chase a piston myself. ALMOST 4 MONTHS LATER, I HAVE NO PARTS A HUGE DELAY IN MY BUILD, AND STILL NOT A SINGLE E-MAIL FROM THIS COMPANIES "OVER-SEAS SPECIALIST" read more

I was on vacation riding the mountains with a group. The 600 mile trip there and 800 miles of twisty roads did in my rear tire. I expected to loose at least a full day of riding getting a new tire. Called Mr Motorcycle and they said just come on by and we will take care of you. They actually said you my have to wait a minute but we will get you in.Rode over and Alex in service got me a great tire (on sale even) and actually had me out the door in under ONE hour. I was in Asheville this past weekend, after attending an ADV rally in Murphy, NC. While riding through Asheville, I noticed a clanking/banging noise from the rear of the bike, getting progressively louder. I brought it to MR Motorcycle for a diagnosis and repair. Alex Brown, the service manager there, was just great. When I told him I was on a tour and wanted to get back on the road ASAP, he got my bike right into to the service bay, even though it was a busy day. His tech, David, diagnosed the problem as a bad rear axle bearing. Alex didn't have the OEM bearing in stock, but did have a Kawasaki bearing that fit my Honda. He installed the bearing, and a new chain, and had me on my way in two hours, at a very reasonable price. You always worry when you go to an out-of-town shop that they are going to take advantage of you because they can. That wasn't the case here at all. Alex and Dave were very professional, very helpful, and I highly recommend this shop to everyone. read more

We were in the middle of a 6 day motorcycle trip when it became obvious that our rear tire was not going to make it back to Ohio. Never imagined we would only get 2000 miles out of a tire many get 8000 from. They had an exact replacement in stock and got it on the bike quickly. This is the second time they've bailed our group out, and we are again grateful. Sadly, the new tire picked up a giant shard of glass the next day and was unrepairable, but that doesn't diminish the magnitude of the help they provided!! read more

Battery died late Saturday morning while cruising down the interstate. Far from home and stranded. Mr motorcycle was recommended by the towtruck driver. They troubleshooted my problem,cleaned neglected connections and replaced the terminals as well as replacing my ancient battery. The folks in the service dept as well as the folks in the showroom were friendly and professional. The bill was very reasonable. I bought my first new motorcycle here on 4-28-2016 a 2016 Yamaha R3. My experience was negative. The sales manager Mr. Kinder was rude to me and also lied to me in saying that "I need the warranty for my new motorcycle because if I needed say a fuel injector it would cost me $1200. " So I called Mr Motorcycle a few days later to price the fuel injector to see the cost. The cost is $98.00 plus tax. I would not go back to a company that that lie's to me and that are rude to me.They lost any future business from me because of this. I don't recommend them at this time. read more

Service does not deserve a star. I was in there today, looking to replace my old atv. I was greeted by a man who appeared to work there and asked me if I need any help. I kindly turned down the offer and continued looking. After about 15 minutes I had gathered some questions. I went back to the man and asked if he could help me answer some questions. He sternly said he didn't work there and walked off into a office. Slightly confused I decided to find another "employee". When I finally found someone, as he approached me he asked in the most fowl way, "what do you want?" Shocked at this mans statement I started asking him some questions. I was only able to get one question out of him before he walked away into an office. After receiving the one answer I decided to sit on the bike to see if it would fit me properly. During this time, the man who claimed he didn't work there came out of the office demanding me to get the off the bike stating that there should be no reason why I was on the bike. He then walked away assisting other customers. This shocked me as not 20 minutes ago he claimed he didn't work there. Extremely frustrated I decided I shouldn't waste my time staying in this store anymore. I would like to eventually do business with them. For they are close to my house and they have a great selection of atvs. But first the attitudes must change. read more
