This store is really quite large, bigger than most of the stores I visited in the Disney World parks. Toward the back is a ton of candy and Japanese sweets. I bought lots of fun treats to share with friends and family, including the sakura KitKat that's hard to find outside Japan, I think. The staff were very friendly. They wrote my daughter's name on something we bought--perhaps the fan--in Hiragana. There's also a Kidcot stop right outside this shop (near the candy section), so you may want to check to see if that's still the case to give the kiddos something fun to do.

They have a lot of Disney themed items as well as Hello Kitty. Currently they have a whole line of Peanuts items featuring Snoopy. I did see some things that I liked, but nothing that jumped out at me and I found quite a few items that people I know would probably enjoy. While I did not buy anything on this trip there were a lot of items that I will keep in mind with birthdays that are coming up in a few months. Inventory does turn over very quickly in these stores and sometimes there are things we will find on one trip and then never see you again. For collectors you really need to figure out if you want to just buy it now before you can't find it again. The employees were very friendly, but they were in the middle of rearranging quite a bit of inventory when I was there. I do shop through the location in the Florida mall frequently and have been known to stop at the location that is nearby. The mall and it was just nice to find another location down here and I have already recommended it to some people, I know that enjoy a lot of the items that they get in these stores. It's bright, open, and feels like an organic extension of Animal Kingdom rather than just another retail shop. As for what you'll find, the shop's got a little bit of everything. Plushes, pins, apparel, pens, toys, hats, packaged candy, stickers, sundries, and other goodies are in plentiful supply. You'll spot plenty of Animal Kingdom-themed gear, like shirts featuring the Tree of Life, fun Mickey ear safari hats, and wildlife-inspired accessories. If you're a annual passholder, discounts do apply at this store! The team members are so helpful at this location. I was looking at a few of their Disney Ornaments and Snow globes! This is one of the best locations to shop at, especially if you're leaving Animal Kingdom for the day, you can easily stop into this store on the way out of the theme park!
