The last couple of visits to Orlando, we tried to come to Old Town to check it out. My fiance is a big car guy and he used to come to their car shows all the time. The weekends get very very busy and after about 30-45 min of just circling the parking lots for parking, we usually give up. During a more recent trip, we went on a Thursday. It was still surprisingly very busy but we eventually were able to find a parking spot. The stores are cute, if not a bit gimmicky. Most of the staff in the stores aren't super friendly, probably because they deal with tourists all day. But it was still fun to walk around, look at all the things and just hang out. We might try braving attending one of the car nights on our next visit.

For over 10 years my dad and his friends have been a part of the Friday night car cruise . It's such a fun time and you see cars from the 40's all the way to current models that are a sight to see! Cruise starts at 8:30 every Friday and they have the classic only car show on Saturday mornings. Old town is cool for all ages as there is something to see, places to eat and shops to buy super cool and unique souvenirs. Fun spot is literally in the same parking area so the kids love to go hang out and ride the fun roller coasters and go karts ( admission starts around $40 for tickets ) but old town is free to walk around . Make sure you bring your camera because you'll want to capture all the cool photo ops !

Brought the kids here for Halloween so they can trick or treat not far from where we were staying. It's a cute little tourist spot that offers a street filled with shops. Some restaurants and rides for kids. Not sure if rides are there permanently but Ferris wheel is. It's nice that the stores all have their Halloween stash ready for the kids which was a big hit. Every store greeted the kids with treats. It did get pretty busy which I'm sure happens every year. We came a little early which was great as parking was easy. It a cool spot even for walking around and strolling into the different shops. There's a couple of bars as well I believe if you want to pop in for a drink.

Cute little spot to take a stroll. Come after the suns down otherwise you're going to fry! Has little shopping areas, but nothing to exciting, a lot of the tshirts looked bootlegged. Many smoke shops if you're into that and Also a moonshine spot. Beers are priced differently so look around, everyone claims to have the cheapest. Cute lil rides for the little one but it'll cost you about $7 a ride. Carnival games as well. Saw people bungee jumping and shoot up in a ball. Across the street you'll find the truck food park!

This place is nice if you understand it for what it is. Many different stores and restaurants to try. We like getting the slushies next to the arcade. Pina colada flavor with a double shot of coconut rum and im good to go. We've taken family pictures many times at the portrait gallery. The Fun Spot America is right next door

Old Town has not changed much in the 20+ years we have lived here. It's an old Florida tourist spot that was fun to visit during the day with our adult son and his wife to reminisce about his childhood. Parking can be a bit challenging and I would suggest eating elsewhere as the food options did not seem good. Shops are interesting, we love the Mineral shop which has managed to stay the same over all these years.

Ready for an oldie but goodie time!!

This place is really a cute little old perfect place for families, they have something for everyone. Car shows, variety of food options, they have bars for adults and stores for the kids as well. If youre visiting Orlando area definitely stop by.

Do they have wheel chairs or motor scooters for people who need them?

I did not see anyplace that rented scooters while I was there

What are the best restaurants in Old Towne? Do they have a 50s style restaurant?

A&w is kind of 50s style. Loads of resturauanta depending on what food you like. None are really 50s themed in my opinion.

They have commercialized it quite a bit since our last visit but the car show is so much fun!

Who knew that an entertainment district themed after turn-of-the-century Mid-Atlantic boardwalks (e.g., Coney Island, NY and Atlantic City, NJ) would have so much appeal? Well for us, it did. It's really charming and intimate, especially when compared to other parts of Disney World, like the relatively gargantuan Disney Springs. So, along with the fun and unique "seaside" period atmosphere, its size and the fact that this part of Disney isn't crowded had a lot to do with our enjoyment of Disney's BoardWalk. There's a black-and-white photo inside the BoardWalk Inn of the Three Stooges during an appearance at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City in 1938. To me, that photo encapsulates the time period and atmosphere that I think Disney aspired to recreate at the BoardWalk, and I think Disney was successful, for the most part. Aside from the Inn (and the Innkeeper's Club), highlights here include the Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers, Screen Door General Store (for exclusive BoardWalk merch), and Atlantic Dance Hall (cool they have this art-deco music venue here). My wife and I would like to return and have dinner at restaurants Flying Fish (seafood) and Trattoria al Forno (Italian).

There is a good patch of grass that I imagine you can have a picnic on or read a book on. I loved walking over the bridge. This property connects to the other Disney properties. You can take the skyliner between this one and the other resorts. I also saw a ferry that I'm imagining you can take to Disney Springs! I saw a cool bakery restaurant that I would like to try in the future. I got a chance to try the pizza from the pizza place and I loved it. I have previously gone to Abracadabra bar as well as the Italian restaurant and both were really enjoyable. Definitely make the stop if you have the time! It's beautiful!
