A 1hr foot massage started with a 10 minute neck, shoulder, and arm massage as my feet soaked in warm blue water. She then did a very nice foot and leg massage, hitting all of the right pressure points, muscles, etc. She used her hands, arms, elbows, stretched my feet and legs, used a lot of pressure which I liked, and also finished by draping hot towels on my legs and feet. It was pretty comprehensive and my feet were so smooth after (all oil was cleaned off). I've had foot massages by over 40 different massage therapists in my life (I backpacked through Asia and got massages in every city), and this was probably in the top 10% of the ones i experienced. The place is not fancy but it was inexpensive and she knew what she was doing. I will have to come back to try the other massages.

But I have been dying to get a massage. With some research online I was able to find Spa-Mobile. Basically they bring the spa to your home. You simply go on there website, pick the therapist you like to have and pick a time. The price is not much more that a massage you would get at a spa. They also provide insurance receipts. Now let me tell you about my experience. After I booked online, I received an email explaining all the safety precautions they take and how the procedure the day of the massage will look like. Then once they are on their way to your house they sent you a text message with a link that allows you to track where they are exactly. Once they get to your place, they set-up where you tell them to. The massage table is very professional. They set it up, put a heat blanket then put the sheets on top. Once every thing is set up, they sit with you and go through a questionnaire about your health and which areas you want the massage to be concentrated on. Then she goes to the bathroom to wash her hands while you lay on the table. My therapist was Claudia, and she went over and beyond. She brought white sage to clarify the room, she also asked me what type of music I like, which she then played on the IPad she had. Last but not least, she brought fresh cucumbers which she placed on my eyes. Once it was over she again went to wash her hands while i put ob my robe. (Benefits of being at home). She gave me her card and asked for me to pay via e-transfer. Later that nice, she sent me the receipt and the insurance paper. I will never go to a spa for a massage as this was the best massage experience I have ever had. Keep in mind before the pandemic i use to have 5-6 massages per year. So trust me when I say best massage everrrr .

This place was small and seemed to only have 1 couple room and 1 single person room. The massage itself was enjoyable. I got the step on massage which is what I usually get. Bodhi does it on a floormat and use walking sticks to support themselves on your back. There was a bit more assisted stretching done than what I am used too which I actually enjoyed a lot. I've been twice in the past week since the reopening and was worked on by both Julia and Teyk, these ladies are truly amazing! I've gone to high-end spas for massages and pampering and I don't think I will ever go back. These ladies have amazing skills and techniques, make you feel so comfortable and relaxed. They really don't hold back when it comes to helping you whether you are there for a specific issue or just for a nice relaxing massage. Going back post COVID-19 of course it's a bit different than usual, but nothing too crazy at all! You go in and are welcomed with the 2 meter distance, sanitize your hands and put on mask right away. In the massage room there is designated space for your clothes and jewelry and your asked to wear the mask while you are being massaged, yes this sounds strange but honestly didn't change a thing for me and I didn't really notice it at all while I was on the table. Everything was very clean and disinfected so I really had ZERO worry going in for a massage. The ladies of course have to wear masks as well and they wash their hands right before your massage and right after. I found this place randomly when searching for massage therapy in the neighborhood, I love their website and vibe - easy to book appointments online and select the service or person you want. This place offers mainly yoga/meditation classes and different holistic services like massages, accupuncture, hypnosis. It's very modern, relaxing, soothing. The decor was beautiful and inviting, which is very important because this part of the city can be kind of rough unfortunately. Pricing was fair, service was professional and just what I wanted. Highly recommend the massage therapy, can't speak for other services yet.
