Thank goodness my daughter did some research and found this place. This place is kind of in a non-descripts building. I used my GPS or I might have missed it. But once you go inside, so different. The inside has stations that beauticians use of course, but there's a good amount of feng shui going on and it's very pleasant. I was greeted by a nice young lady at the counter. She checked me in, offered me snacks and/or a drink and then asked me to be seated. I had this appt with Jessie, who also cut my daughter's hair. Ok cut and dried, this was a very pleasant experience, and I liked the way she did my hair. She asked me about my hair, what I liked, what I didn't like, then she asked me to wait a few to get an estimate on what the cost might be. After this, my hair was shampooed and then the cutting began. She treats your hair like it's the best thing in the world. She cuts it that way also. She listened to what I liked and that was the best thing. I've had some bad haircuts from people who simply didn't listen. And also, we talked and talked and I think a new friend was made. It's nice to know that I can count of someone now to cut my hair, like I want it cut. So will I come back. Oh yes, I'm already scheduled out for another appt. Try this place out!

I paid $300 for a haircut and color, and while the color itself was good, the haircut was a…read moredisaster. The stylist layered the bottom of my hair so much that it felt butchered and jagged. My hair is already very fine, so I ended up having to buy clip-in hair extensions just to make it look fuller. When I pulled my hair forward, there was about an inch-and-a-half difference in length. A hair strand rubbed across my forehead and left color all over my hairline, and the stylist didn't even try to clean it up. I left with color on my face and a stain on the back of my shirt. I even had to cut my own hair at home. I also went back for a facial during a special promotion, and it was very underwhelming. Between the haircut and the facial, I will not be going back.

They charged me full price for my original appointment, I thought I wouldn't be charged for the color correction but at the end of my appointment I had a bill for a completely new service. May I add their pricing is INSANE. If you need your hair done I've tried Cloud 9 or Urban Edge, great service, great work and normal pricing.

I went to Kimberly Trenda at Simplicity Salon for hair extensions in March. Kimberly recommended…read morethe Babe flat tip extensions and told me I would need seven packs. While looking at the extension samples, Kimberly said that she would have to dye my hair first and then choose the extension that matched the best. She failed at matching the color to the extension. The day after the extensions were installed, there was some pulling and tension. Kimberly told me this was normal. After a week, it was just painful. I noticed that my scalp was red and blistered. So, I reached out to another local Babe-certified stylist for a consultation. She told me that the extensions were painful because they had been installed incorrectly. She was also confused as to why the color did not match. I also sent pictures to Babe, and they said, based on the pictures, that the extensions were not installed the Babe way. To get these issues corrected, I had to pay to have the extensions removed, then pay to have my hair dyed the correct color, and then pay to have the extensions reinstalled. The new install used half the amount of extensions, the color matched perfectly, and there was no pain. I reached out to Kimberly to let her know, but I never received a call back. After not hearing anything for a month, I decided to dispute the charge on my credit card. On top of all these issues, Kimberly Trenda charged me a 5% service fee to use my credit card. This is illegal as the limit is 4%. I wasn't planning to leave Kimberly negative reviews and wanted to put this awful experience behind me. Unfortunately, when Kimberly learned of the dispute, she decided to put me dox me in a Facebook group. She created a post informing other stylists that I disputed the charge. She added my married last name and my previous last name. She even went as far as to dig up old photos of me and posted them in the thread. She is completely unprofessional, and I highly suggest not using her services. Who knows what she will do if you are unhappy with a service?
