I have been getting my hair cut and high lighted here for almost 8 years. Suzie is the owner of the…read moresalon, and there are a few girls that work there as well. I have never had anyone do my hair other than her, so I can only say that the other ladies in the shop are always friendly and helpful. I can't say enough nice things about this place! I have long hair and to get a trim and highlights is very reasonable. In the past, I have paid almost double to get the same things done. Also, the atmosphere makes you feel like you are at someone's home, not some uppity salon. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes past my scheduled time and have never, in nearly eight year, had her cancel an appointment on me. There are several hair salons closer to me, but I choose to drive here because of the relaxing atmosphere, prices, and the relationship I have with my hairdresser. (Ladies, we all know how important that is!) If I had to nit-pick and say one bad thing about Suzie's is that it is a small business, and therefore sometimes it takes a few weeks to get an appointment. You can't just call up and expect to be seen that week. Also, they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. So, if you are a fan like me, go ahead and schedule your next visit at the end of your appointment.

I've seen Hannah at Salt Beauty Lab about 3 times over the past year for blonde balayage…read morehighlights. Hannah is super accommodating and always somehow able to squeeze me in. When I moved away in December 2018, Hannah was super helpful in giving me pointers for finding a new stylist, telling me what keywords to give the stylists to get exactly what I wanted. When I went to my cut and gloss appointment in Buffalo, the stylist would not stop complimenting my highlights. I think it says a lot when another stylist recognizes the skill of another. I've also seen other stylists for getting my hair done with weddings and other events, and gotten compliments on Hannah's highlights technique as well. Hannah's a certified Rusk instructor, meaning that she's taken an extra step to learn the proper approach with the Rusk products, and trains other stylists on how to use them. So, her expert technique isn't surprising! I love Hannah's work so much that I made an appointment to get balayage with her while I was visiting my parents in Greensburg for the weekend. And again, she was super accommodating knowing that I was coming in from 4 hours away. I can't recommend Hannah enough! And yes, I totally plan on keeping her as my stylist even while living in Buffalo. I'm also getting microblading done with Dawn, and I'm super excited about it! I'll update this review once I do.

I found this salon though a facebook ad offering a promotion for a $35 shampoo and blowout with a…read morescalp treatment. It was easy to make an appointment and they had a variety of availability. The salon itself is easy to access off of route 30 and there is parking right out front. The space is bright, clean and looks modern. There are many chairs set up for styling, a space to the left for nails and a back room with the chairs/sinks for hair washing. The shampoo/blowout was nice. It was an affordable way to get some pampering and it was a relaxing experience. The scalp treatment was soothing and relaxing. They took the time to answer questions and find out what kind of finished look I wanted. Overall, it was a great visit and a salon I'd consider going to again.

This salon ruined my hair and I want to review it in order to help others. I spent four hours here…read moreon my birthday and paid a $160 bill for color I hated. My hair is still damaged and new stylists are slowly fixing what they did. My blonde hair was orange and turned out super brassy. My stylist kept adding toner after toner and just made it worse. The owner stepped in after three hours to help but she was unprofessional, rude, and passive aggressive with me. She had the audacity to act like I was at fault and I was being "emotional" because I wasn't okay with orange brassy hair. She made a comment about me turning 40. Hugely unprofessional and intentionally mean spirited.
