I worked in Maryland in 1993 and bought a 1972 sportster that needed a lot of work. Someone at work told me about Tim Sr.. Being from out of state,Tim and his family made me feel right at home.(He was working out of his house garage in Maryland at the time.) Tim practically rebuilt the complete bike, but the engine work was awesome. It was kick start only and started on first kick everytime. I beat the crap out of that bike for four years and it ran perfectly, until the frame cracked. Apparently someone before me had welded it poorly and covered it up. Or maybe, it was just me beating the crap out of it. When I came back to Massachusetts I actually tried to get people from here send their bikes down to Tim.
The reason I'm writing this now is beacause I found an old flyer Tim sent me when he first opened his shop in PA. So for kicks I looked him up online and over 15 years later he's still in business. THAT should tell you a lot. Now that I'm done writing this, I'm going to call and say hello beacause he still has the same phone number. That should tell you something also. At this time he has no idea that I'm writing this review. read more
