Bunch of nasty arrogant scumbags and looking for another bank to deal with. Half the time their site is down and the other half they can't be bothered to do their job and have an arrogant attitude if you can even get through to them by phone ! Plan on spending at least 45 minutes on hold to even get to speak to someone !!! Worst bank ever !!! Wish there was a Chase or T D bank in this area, as I have always had good service with these two banks. read more

If 1. you want to be treated like dog crap (esp by a WILLIAM PICK) which means - disrespected and spoken to as if you were a criminal. 2. you want to pay a higher refinance interest rate 4.5% when another bank locked in (I signed papers a week ago to finalize all of it) 3.875% on the SAME day 3. you want to pay a NONREFUNDABLE $725 up-front before ever seeing the paper work/terms of refinance 4. you are ok with not getting a return call from your refi person WILLIAM PICK on average of greater than 5 BUSINESS DAYS (not just DAYS but BUSINESS DAYS) 5. you are ok with being called out as a liar when you say you didn't get mailed paperwork from M&T bank. Then by all means go with M&T Bank...they should really make 0 or negative numbers an option for this rating system. These guys are really a piece of work - UMPQUA Bank - now there's a bank that knows how to treat people well..If I had gone with them from the beginning in Dec, I'd have locked in 3.575% UGH.... read more

I went to cash my tax refund check today at the drive through. The teller sent it back $60.00 short. When I went in they said they would count the drawer and machine and the teller said they would have to "search my car" I have banked with them for 45 years and never had an issue like this and am offended at the way I was treated. Do not use as home loan my loan company recently sold out to M&T bank unfortunately!! Noting but issues from the start and it's only been two months... If you do have to call to make a payment Over the phone they want to charge you $17 just to pay your mortgage.. So your telling me I have to pay you money to take my money that your already going to make 100k+ in interest... Spoke to Yolonda which is a supervisor definitely not friendly.. Will be refinancing soon! read more

Never been late in 6 years, call into customer service to ask questions about something and was spoken to like I was the worst person in the world, I had to ask the rep if she could look at my payment record and see that I've never been late and ask her why was she being so hostile towards me. I own multiple homes and this is the only bank I hate calling for or about anything. read more
