I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped to offer help, in the end a lovely young man from Latvia came and helped me. He pulled out this huge screw/ bolt from the tyre then repaired it with something magic that looked like a rubber plug. I don't know his name, he said he lived in new Milton and he had a blue car. He really was a saviour to me. I was so amazed that so many kind people came to my aid and offered help. with all the bad things happening in this world today, all the people who stopped were just kind and wonderfu, I'm glad I live in this great country.

You have to snake all over the place before you can park anywhere near the shop itself! Once you are there (Even after the much hyped revamp!) the aisles of the shop feel tiny and as soon as anyoone stops to look at anything, you are likely to have to wait for someone else to get out of the way! Bearing in mind the average age of the shopper here (Much higher that you may imagine) they seem to have given little thought to the amount of mobility equiptment that they might need or indeed the space needed to use what they do have fully! My every trip there ends in headache!

I have now started to do my weekly shop here and can get almost everything I need. They even do common brands as well as there own. The fruit and veg is fresh and excellent quality and so it the meat and ham. I have tried out many new things and have been very pleased with everything I have bought. You must remember your own bags though because you have to pay for theirs and the checkouts are pretty small and there is no space to pack your shopping. The best thing is that you are in and out in such a small time and have everything you need. Highly recommend.

Several hours later, i popped in to ask if it had been handed in. With a minimum of fuss, the store gave me a complimentary replacement. At a high end supermarket, i would have expected this, but at a budget-supermarket it was a pleasant surprise! Well, it prompted me to do this review.

Inside there is a large clothing range as well as an average homewares and electricals range. The store is laid out well with the suopermarket area gelling with the non food items. There are many offers dotted around the store at random places which is quite odd. I find the staff all present themselves well and are polite and efficient in their job. I will continue to choose this supermarket for my weekly shopping.

This store was massive and felt like the Walmart of UK. The prices were quite cheap and sold every type of thing from garden tools, economic clothing, basic electronics, food, soaps, and other housewares. It made my stay here economical and convenient as I was able to buy some food for a train ride to my next adventure or a low key dinner in my hotel room. there's a clothing section so that if you're in a pinch and need clothes, this place would be reasonable. certainly not the most fashionable and sizes are larger but hey, it's a beach town so comfort is the fashion here The produce section is actually very affordable and was how I managed to keep my produce load up while traveling. I would grab a bag of watercress, spinach, arugula mix and pair it some fruits on sale in my hotel room. they were all fresh, none were rotting or spoiling and were good priced. There's a good cold foods section- rows and rows of it. The only down side to this place is a hot foods section. Thus, if you're looking for a hot bar besides rotisserie chicken, there's not that great of a section for this and no where to sit and eat unless you paid more. There's even a clearance section for the cold foods if you had a home and stove to cook some stuff fast. There's also a money exchange and other random services here. in otherwords, a great community jack of all trades store here. Nothing fancy but definitely inclusive, affordable, large variety, large and pretty clean.

On a practical note, I also have mixed views about this place; on the plus side, the long opening hours are a godsend when I've run out of something, the staff are generally friendly and helpful, the product range is excellent and the prices are reasonable. My main criticism of this shop is that they are a bit lax when it comes to sell by dates, and I have learned to check the dates on stuff carefully before putting things in my basket.

I find the toilets to be easily accessed and from start to finish I can do my shopping in here without wandering all over the place looking for one item. The only thing I don;t like about visiting this store is the parking, as you can find yourself parked far away from the store due to the carpark being shared with other stores in the complex. It would be better if Asda could designate their own parking area with more mother and toddler parking spaces to help frazzled mothers like myself.
