The items I purchased was four cans of energy drinks. After she rung me up and I paid she got a bag and was opening it. I put my head down to put my card back in my wallet as she was bagging my stuff, or so I thought. She said okay you're all set. I put my head back up and all four cans were still sitting there and the bag was too. I said, "Oh, I thought you were bagging my stuff." She smacked her lips and rolled her eyes at me like I said something crazy. I didn't know if I was expected to just carry four cans out with my hands full so I asked her was that bag for me. She told me yes. "Oh, I didn't know I had to bag my own stuff." Welp, there goes her eye rolling nasty attitude again. She told me "Well we're not Kroger". Good thing I had somewhere to be so I left but sure enough called when I got in the car and got on my way. I asked for the manager on duty. Yep, that was her. So of course she was not any more customer friendly and she told me that they are not required to bag our stuff. I told the lady as many Speedway locations that I have been to I have never had to bag my own stuff or seen such a thing as that she was so nasty. Her parting words for me was oh well all I can do is tell you to call corporate. The fact that I called my husband to tell him what happened and he knew exactly who I was talking about speaks volumes. If he had told me about her before I would not have spent my money there. I moved to Dayton less than 3 months ago but that is one place I will NEVER go again as long as I am here. That lady has no business doing any job in customer service. Only reason this review is even getting one star is because it won't let me post with zero stars. That's how nasty this lady was.

Probably the worst Speedway in Dayton…read more I was in there around 5pm and there were two people working: an old woman behind the counter, and a young boy wearing a tshirt and sweatpants. The old woman moved so slow and cared so little: a man in front of me wanted cigarettes, and she kept telling him they were out, even though he and I and another person were all pointing at them. I watched the boy fill the slushy stations with water out of a mop bucket and wander around the store not actually doing anything while a line formed at the checkout. Absolutely filthy, the floor is basically black. The drink stations are a DISASTER. Never any straws, most of the drinks are out of syrup. I tried to get some coke and it came out VERY bubbly, almost like it had soap in the water, which makes me wonder about that boy with the bucket... There is never any hot food ready, the rollers are empty, and the cold food is half filled. In fact, most of the shelves are half filled. A lot of it is also misshelved-there we're different bags of different things in all different places, couldn't tell what actually cost what. The beef jerky station was full of other merchandise, and most of the flavors were either empty or in the wrong spot. All of the trash was overflowing or just all over the counters. Dayton is FULL of Speedways. FULL of them. This one just happens to be less than a mile from my house. But for some reason, this close to downtown, this is the only Speedway for miles. I adore Speedway. I go out of my way to go to Speedway. Now I'll be going out of my way to avoid this one.

It was such a a nasty taste. I decided to return to the gas station and complain about the product. The clerk behind the counter did not speak English very well. There was a guy sitting on the stool who chimed his two cents in when I told her that the drink was old or possibly had some spoiled product. They asked me if I had tasted the drink before I purchased it. No I did not get some of the drunk and taste it before I bought it. They said no one else had complained about the nasty frozen icee so why should they refund my money. I told them that I had taken a couple of sips,but the drink tasted so strange. The icee cost was about $2.49 and they refused to refund my money or exchange for another drink. The lady was trying to explain something but really doesn't speak English fluently. The guy in the stool was really the rude person. He must be the manager because he was simply rude and would not comprise. I have purchased gas and other items at this gas station. I will never step foot in that station again! It is not about the $2.49 that I paid for the icee. It is called courtesy to your loyal customers.
