Thigpen's bait and tackle sells all the fishing gear and bait you need for fresh water fishing. They also carry a limited amount of salt water tackle. I go there at least once a week to buy live bait for fishing at a local lake. They have minnows sized small to large, crickets, night crawlers etc. You can also renew or get your MS sportsman's fishing and hunting license there. A great 1 stop shop in Picayune MS for your fishing needs.

I'll likely go back there for all the other accessories, holsters, etc. They have an excellent selection for pretty much anything you're into, and the prices seemed to be on par with expectations. Keep in mind my fiance doesn't know much about the mechanics of the firearm, this is why we picked this pistol to get her started. This clerk starts asking her to rack the slide, drop the magazine, what type of bullet does the pistol use, how many rounds does it hold, who makes the firearm? She answers most of his questions and handled the firearm responsibility but he told her it was a "red flag" because she didnt know all the questions he asked and he personally thinks she is buying the gun for me!! Then tells her this isn't a "starter pistol"!! I ask what is a starter pistol? And ask for a manager, he states he is the manger! Then a lady i have worked with before says she is the manager!! I have helped all my daughters and other friends and family buy firearms and get trained. This experience ruined my fiance experience buying her first firearm. Needless to say I won't EVER buy here again..
