Had 14 trees removed. Did a great job removing and grinding up the stumps. After the cleanup had one stump that needed more grinding, he came back and took care of that. Thanks. read more

A community member reached out to you today for help getting an injured suffering cormorant out of a tree in a difficult location. This good samaritan expressed their absolute disgust of your lack of care and poor attitude. You should be ashamed of yourselfs for turning away someone asking for help saving an injured animal. They said "M & M tree service had the absolute worst attitude about it once we told him what kind of bird it is. The guy literally said because it's a cormorant it's no big loss and wouldn't help because of that." read more

I scheduled a day to have a tree removed. A day before it was to be taken down, they wanted to move it out a day which didn't work for me. I rescheduled it for 2 weeks later and received a message the day before it was scheduled asking if they could do it a day earlier because it was going to be more convenient for them. I said no that we needed to keep the original schedule because that was more convenient for me. Well, they ignored my request and took the tree down a day earlier, even after I said no. Their customer service is totally lacking. read more

I highly recommend M&M tree service. Michael Mathis is reliable and his crew is punctual. I have used this service twice to remove very large pine trees. Very reasonable pricing and after their stump grinding and cleanup you couldn't tell the trees ever existed. Terry Byron read more

M&M TREE SERVICE IS AMAZING! Owner Mike Mathis and his team of professionals are incredible. What a great job they did in cutting away trees and branches that were falling on our roof. Mr.Mathis stopped by last week, gave me a very reasonable quote, confirmed by text and he and his team showed up early this morning and did a superb job, in a short period of time. Mr. Mathis is an arborist as well. Found out about them as our Community POA hired them to take down some trees on communal property. They did a great job there as well. Definitely recommend M&M Tree Service. Will have them on speed dial! read more

Excellent work done by professionals. Reliable and prompt. Highly recommended for your tree service needs.

These folks did a great job taking the trees down but hit conduits for our internet cable and phone lines while doing the stump grinding. They could not get off our property any quicker. They are obviously not insured....we contacted them several times by phone and email to supply us with their certificate of insurance and they never responded. I would not use them unless you have a COI in hand before they start work. read more

Michael from M and M tree expert services, What a professional company to Have come to work on our property, not once but twice. M&M tree expert services provide you with affordable caring quality tree removal stump removal, area leveling grinding taking away depending on your agreement, whatever it is that you decide works for you. Michael has experienced qualified employees, that have been working for him for quite some time, they loyal, courteous, polite they're great hard working respectable men. They crew are helpful, they go above and beyond. Michael's prices in my opinion are more than reasonable he's willing to negotiate in my opinion his business and his services go above and beyond anybody else that I've experienced so far in South Carolina. I would highly recommend M&M tree experts as a qualified business not only for commercial but residential work. Not only does he set an appointment, he shows up when he says he's going to, he arrives earlier than the time that he scheduled He is trusting and doesn't require what a lot of these other fly by night contractors do, it might depend on the job , but for us he didn't ask for any money upfront. I can't say that would be the case for every single job, because I am not business owner, and I don't make those calls, but not only was he professional he was polite, he was loyal he was honest. His employees are honest and professional and courteous. They go above and beyond to protect my your property. They clean up when they're done. They also went and did additional work that I didn't even contract them for. In my opinion they are A+++++ plus plus. If you are a builder and you need tree removal, I believe that they have the equipment necessary to provide you with the services that you need.If you're a resident not only do they have the equipment they come overly prepared, they made sure that safety was top priority not only for their employees but for the homeowner and my home as well. I cannot say more about our positive experience with this particular business and I would highly recommend them to do tree work stump removal, And if they offer any other services, I wouldn't think twice about hiring them, they're great, everything about them, their employees, the job performance the time schedule the work done everything and the cost was A++++ they also completed the job earlier then expected. The owner is professional treats you with respect and didn't ask for a dime till our work was done. Remember every job is different so I can't say he would not expect a deposit as I am not the owner but if he does, I would hesitate as he is reputable and honest don't worry he is not a fly by night an your job money is safe with this company. He treats his employees with respect an they do a great job. He seems to be loyal to his employees as they have stay on for a long time. What a great company and crew. Please don't hesitate to hire them. With all the crap companies out there you can trust this one. read more
