After lots of research, we chose Mike's Tree Service (Lexington, SC) based on customer reviews. We were not disappointed! He did a free onsite estimate and it was easy to communicate with Mike. His price was the lowest of the three that we got estimates from but we did not choose him on that alone. He seemed like he really cared and was well-equipped (both with staff and equipment) to do what we needed. Mike and his crew took down three trees (and ground stumps for two of them) and did very careful trimming of an old oak that is the centerpiece of our back yard. Our yard looked better AFTER he was done than before he came!! All this in about three hours! There was nothing to clean up and we were very impressed with his work. Despite it being Christmas Eve, Mike's Tree Service arrived when they said they would. Mike and his crew came prepared with the proper equipment and removed all three trees within 2 hours. The next available day another gentleman arrived with a stump grinder and had the stumps done within 45 minutes. Both yards were left in great condition and the price was very reasonable. I intend to use Mike's Tree Service again and my neighbor plans to as well!

No Stars for Palmetto Pros and their owner Dave Cook. Wrote a contract with them in Jan 2024 to…read morecomplete my siding and gave them a deposit of over 5K. After months of hearing the special order siding is coming, he texts me in April that it is no longer available and I would need to order something else. I called the mfg and Hamms hardware to find out he never ordered the siding, it has a 4 week lead time, and now he was trying to get me to purchase something he could get in a few days. I requested my money returned as he lied and admitted he lied to us, using our money to fund his operations. It took two weeks and two checks to get my money back. Unfortunately, I also had him construct a shed under my deck, while waiting for the siding, which he was unable to complete and make water proof after Three return trips, and it still leaks today. He may be able to cut down trees but don't hire these folks for anything else... and don't leave him a deposit. NO STARS... run from Palmetto Pros and Dave Cook.

The first two companies that I had scheduled three times each did not come or even call for follow up after their third missed appointment. My provider worked quickly and did well doing first time adjustment to the front and back yards. He found and repaired a broken supply line. My cost was $140 for everything the companies that never showed both had a base fee of $150 and said they might not even start work on the first visit. So the service and phone calls were superior. The work was excellent and done in a timely manner. I will use them again.

From the moment I called for a quote to the final cleanup, the whole process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. They provided me with a fair and transparent estimate, which was very reasonable compared to other companies I contacted. On the day of the tree removal, the crew arrived promptly and were extremely efficient. They took great care in ensuring the job was done safely--especially given the proximity of the trees to my house and other structures. They worked seamlessly together to get the job done quickly and with precision. I was genuinely impressed by their expertise. Once the trees were down, they didn't just pack up and leave. They cleaned up every single branch leaving my yard looking great. They even had to take down a fence to get in the backyard which was put back up when they were done. The entire team was friendly, professional, and incredibly courteous. It's clear they take pride in their work. If you're looking for a reliable, skilled, and reasonably priced tree removal service, look no further than Eaddy's Tree Specialist I'll definitely be recommending them to my friends and family, and I won't hesitate to call them for any future tree care needs!
