Auto Select popped up on Yelp and we called. Even though all appointments for that afternoon were booked, they agreed to take a look for us. We got there an hour or so later, left the vehicle, and walked across the street to Dunkin Donuts to wait. About 15-20 minutes later, through the window at our table, we saw one of the mechanics not run but actually SPRINT to the car and pull it up to the garage for service. This place was not lying about their exceptional service. They kept us in the loop via phone about the areas of the car they were inspecting and what the associated costs would be. Ultimately we ended up having to replace the compressor, which was a bummer as it was not cheap, but the price they quoted was fair and we were happy they had the part on hand. All in all, only took 2-3 hours and we were back on our way. AC is working again and we were happy to be kept cool the entire holiday weekend. Thanks Auto-Select! I was told my front brakes only had 4mm of pad left. Clearly they never removed the wheels to perform the inspection. When I took my vehicle to Kiley's Preble Motors for a second opinion, it was discovered that my front brakes had 10mm of pad left. For shame, Gandrud!!! Furthermore, it was difficult and frustrating to use Gandrud's automated service scheduling system. Don't patronize this establishment: they are terrible at customer service and they are terrible at performing service.
