According to the website, M&Co have 300 stores nationwide. I can only assume they are mostly in the north because I don' think I have ever come across a branch before. Saying that it is so generic I could quite possibly have wandered past one every day of my life and not even noticed. M&Co seems to be like New Look for middle aged/old people. Its about the same quality and price, and a lot of the fabrics are similar, but the styles of the garments are more appealing for older people. M&Co is basically completely middle of the road. One thing that annoys me though, and is the same in lots of different high street stores: they have a petite section and a plus size section, but no tall section. This is extremely common, that shops will cater especially for the short or the fat, but not for the tall. As a tall woman, this annoys me. It means for example that I can't ever find a maxi-dress that I can wear because they are more midi-dresses. And pretty tea dresses designed to fit at the waist have a more empire line look on me, which, also being pear-shaped does not suit me! I don't see why people of longer proportions aren't catered to more widely in the high street fashion market. Anyway, here endeth the rant. read more
