We had a wasp nest in our grill, so we called Mad based on positive Yelp reviews. An exterminator was able to come out the next business day. They sprayed the nest and told us within 24 hours that we could remove the nest ourselves (which I wasn't crazy about, but I can understand if it was supposed to be a dead nest). However, the next day there were still some wasps. We gave a call back to Mad and they were able to send someone out again today. To my surprise, I came home and the nest was completely gone (just the way I like it!). The job cost about $60 total. Based on the overall experience, I would definitely use Mad again. read more

Beware. MAD got sold to a large company that does not provide the same level of customized service. I called the local number and got transferred to some call center. I said I wanted to set up _a_ treatment, and the agent immediately tried to sign me up for a _series_ of treatments. I believe they are hiding behind a local name brand that was known for excellent service before the buy out. read more

I had a hive in my basement. They came out and sprayed it for me for $99. The only issue I had was that I couldnt get the hive out after because of location of it. They came out to remove and charged me again plus left bees all over my basement floor. It would have been nice for them to clean up. There were even bees in my washing machine. read more

I had a small rodent problem in the basement with the big rains this fall. Someone from MAD was able to come out the same day I called and set up some traps that were safe to my dog and myself. From the moment I had called them to get an exterminator out to assess and provide a quote, Jessica was so helpful. She knew the time constraint that I was under so she had Mark come out within the hour since he was in the area. Mark was so informative and also was honest about how to go about dealing with the pavers. He had provided the best quote and he wasn't trying to sell me on any extended warranties like other companies. He had come out bright and early today and finished the job in less than 3 hours. We purchased our house without a termite inspection (had little choice in this market) and then found an active yellow jacket nest in our yard that DIY methods did not eliminate. MAD came out and did a full interior inspection, showing me what to look for and where termites would likely try to enter. Thankfully, other than an old mouse nest, nothing was found. They did not have a chance to walk around the outside due to rain but they came back the next day and sprayed the yellow jacket nest. They said they would come back if it didn't look like the nest had been abandoned (thankfully didn't need to make that call). The termite inspection invoice was higher than quoted on the phone but it seemed to include the nest spraying, so it was a net positive. read more

We have used them twice. Once several years ago for ants, and again last week for wasps. We tried to get rid of the wasps on our own but we were unsuccessful and I believe we made matters worse as we were only displacing them! I had a Yellow Jacket Problem that I tried to take care of with sprays from the local store. In the end that only made my matter worse since then we started finding them inside the house. So when I finally called MAD, it wasn't as expensive as I imagined, and the great thing was that I didn't have to be home while they applied the treatment. After the first treatment we saw about a 90% reduction in Yellow Jackets, but we still found a few here and there. But since MAD guaranteed their work for 30 days, they came back out for a 2nd treatment and that fixed our issue. In the end I could have saved myself some money and some headaches if I would have just called in the beginning. I would 100% recommend MAD exterminators. read more
