hello. We have two small rescue dogs. They are so sweet and kind with us however, they are…read moreterrified of strangers. They also have severe anxiety if we try to leave them. We took them here to have them groomed. The people here went above and beyond what I could've ever expected. Our one dog was so afraid that he climbed up me onto my head and wouldn't let go. the people took us to the back, where they bathe. The groomer took their leash off, took their muscles off and was so kind and gentle with them and really calmed them down. We eventually figured out that it was better for me to just take them in with a leash, hand them off and walk out. When we picked them up, they were both relaxed. Happy to see us and looked wonderful. We have been taking our long-haired Chihuahua there to be groomed for at least six years and have always had a wonderful experience with these folks . They really took the time to get to know my dog and were very understanding. He even pooped the first time when they tried to bathe them. I felt so bad about but they just laughed and said that happens. They were such nice people. I highly recommend them to anyone. Our babies always look so cute and smell great when we pick them up! Can't say enough about them.

We had a terrible experience when our seven month old puppy had his so called, "behavioral…read moreevaluation." Without any tour and the briefest of introductions, the 'evaluator' tried to drag our puppy away from us by his leash. He balked and was dragged a bit. We agreed I'd put him in her arms. I explained he was cautious with people but that wasn't accommodated. He was taken to a room where he was not only 'introduced' to a couple of strange to him people but also five dogs he didn't know while we stayed in the waiting area. When he was returned to us 10 minutes later I was told he was scared and had gotten onto a defensive posture in a corner. He had been afraid of the other dogs and the workers. This was said in an accusatory manner. I had already told them he was slow to warm up tp people. The worker then said "He tried to bite me when I put his leash on!" She dramatically showed her arm. He hadn't bitten her. I said, "He is great at the dog park." The other worker said nastily, "This isn't the dog park!" This is not professional behavioral analysis. Unless your dog is great with new spaces, immediately meeting new people and five strange dogs within a few minutes - well don't bother. BTW - our puppy is 13 pounds, super sweet, loves other dogs when at the dog park and yes, warms up to people gradually. He doesn't nip or bite. We told them this, but there was no accommodation and no adjustment. It seems to me that cautious puppies should have a gradual introduction to the daycare and not a trial by fire. I

Finatics is awesome. Jeff and his mom were working there along with 3-4 other staff members…read more Everyone was doing something to care for the animals. Everyone had an animal they were tending to and there was a guy cleaning the fish tanks. I've been in this store three times now researching the best fish tank to give to my daughter for a Christmas gift and each time this same gentleman was cleaning the fish tanks as if he never stops. Great care for the animals. My wife and I took our 8yr old daughter to surprise her with her birthday gift. She is getting her first pet so it was a BIG surprise. As she was browsing the fish tanks for companions to the Betta that she had chosen Jeff took extra time to show her what fish can accompany a Betta. He showed her several species and was telling me what kind will cost a bit less and how to save a few dollars. With expert precision Jeff gave my 8yr old a quick, and easy to understand, lesson on feeding, cleaning, and tank care for what will be her pets. Jeff even made sure we had a full 24 hrs to prep the tank before taking the fish into their new home. Making sure the temp will be good and the tank water treated. He offered, and we accepted, to keep our fish in the store until we could be sure the water tank was ready. We are going back today to pick up the fish and our daughter is so excited. This was a great pet store experience. Thanks Jeff and staff!!!!
