During peak hours it can get pretty hectic. There's no sauna like other locations and the gym space is very small. Other locations are better if you're looking for a large gym space.

I have yet to visit a spa, but that is on my list for the future! This Peachtree Corners location is no exception. My son and I traveled to ATL for the PPA pickleball championships this past weekend and we pretty much spent every waking hour at this facility from Thursday when we arrived until late Sunday night when the tournament was over. We spent the majority of our time either playing pickleball or watching pickleball (both on the indoor and outdoor courts due to some rain), but the facility did a great job (along with the PPA) in navigating the large crowds and keeping the tournament going. We enjoyed some food from the cafe, the locker rooms, and of course the courts and the rest of the grounds as well. We were lucky to be traveling with a friend who purchased VIP Parking, so that was a nice touch... and medaling in some of our events helped make the experience even more fun too! Shoutout to Suzanne on the Life Time pickleball staff! If I lived in the area, I would definitely be spending time here more often - likely taking advantage of open play... We hope to be back next year!

LA Fitness is typically a pretty nice gym brand, and this gym has exactly what you want/need to get…read morea good workout in. They have 2 sets of dumbbell weights, a lot of machines and some smith machine and squat rack areas. Not anything crazy but it works. I have never been there when it gets super busy but it seems like they wouldn't have enough cardio machines. There's even a sign on the wall that says 20 minute limit when it's full. So I guess it gets full pretty frequently? And speaking for myself at least 20 minutes is rarely ever enough time on a cardio machine.. But, they also have a pool where you can swim laps if that's what you prefer. There's a studio and a small basketball court that is almost always have games running.

I brought my 17-year-old son to use the basketball courts, and we were among the first two people on the court. Shortly afterward, other members came in and began joining the shooting area. What followed was completely unacceptable. Several grown men began behaving in an intimidating and bullying manner toward my son, seemingly in an effort to force him off the court so they could have it to themselves. My son was simply trying to practice basketball. Despite the fact that we were there first, these members repeatedly threw his basketball whenever he got in their way. Their behavior escalated to the point where they left the basketball court and threw the ball through the gym. This was completely inappropriate and especially concerning given that these were adults behaving this way toward a 17-year-old. At one point, one of the members also began recording my son after the member struck my son in the face with the ball. Regardless of whether the contact was intentional, the member's behavior leading up to and following the incident was confrontational and inappropriate. I find it extremely disturbing that an adult would engage in this type of behavior toward a teenager who was simply attempting to use the facility as intended. Unfortunately, my experience with the front-desk staff was equally disappointing. The employee working behind the front desk was speaking to incoming members in an unnecessarily aggressive and confrontational manner. She also confronted my son about taking a bag out of the gym, despite the fact that he did not have a bag with him. Her interaction with him was inappropriate and unprofessional. A gym should be a safe and welcoming environment for its members, particularly for young people who are there to exercise and practice a sport. The behavior we experienced from both members and staff fell far below that standard. I expect management to take this complaint seriously, investigate what occurred, review any available security footage, and address the conduct of the members and employee involved. I would also like management to explain what steps will be taken to ensure that members--especially younger members--can use the basketball courts without being intimidated, harassed, or bullied by other patrons. At this point, I am extremely dissatisfied with the experience and feel that a refund or other appropriate resolution should be considered. If this is how members and their children are treated, I have no reason to continue spending my money with L.A. Fitness and will take my business elsewhere. If I could give this gym zero stars, I would.

I had gone to a doctor who told me that I would never be able to run again and that my condition was irreversible and at this point I had to deal with pain management. I was a healthy 29 year old woman who wanted to enjoy an active lifestyle so his diagnosis was devastating. Then Graham introduced me to CrossFit! He assured me he would get me back on my feet again and he did! Within months my balance had improved dramatically and I was gaining muscle definition I never thought possible in my life as a distance runner and cardio enthusiast. Not only was my tibial tendon getting better, but I was getting stronger in every way possible and on top of that was loving every minute of it. I have never found another workout regimen that has kept me as interested and excited as CrossFit has. I have made some great friends throughout my training and in March of this year, less than 10 months after my disappointing diagnosis, I ran in the Spartan Race with a team from Formula CrossFit. I was able to run 5 miles and complete 15 obstacles (including the monkey bars! I haven't been able to do the monkey bars since grade school!) all with no pain! I never could have done it without Graham! He is an extremely knowledgeable coach who finds a way to work with every one of his clients individual needs to reach their full potential. He somehow knows your limits and is able to push you to them He is a patient teacher and an encouraging coach. I have been traveling to North Druid Hills for Graham's training 3 times a week for the past year, and I am SO excited to finally have him right here in Norcross, so close to home!
