I'll let some other reviewers talk about the women's clothes (other than this looks like a place for women, not girls.) What I noticed were items like battery powered candles, wind chimes, angel figurines, and some items that also had humorous sayings, particularly for cat lovers. The payment counter is centrally located in the shop and easy to see from the mall entrance. There were two women working during my visit and both were helping customers while I browsed. I ended up snagging a full flat for $12 and purchasing two bags of pitting soil that were also reasonably priced. Didier also sells mulch by the truck-bed (smaller amounts are available). It's great to have a trusty option available like this in a small town like Union City to avoid the trek to the bigger box stores in Greenville or Richmond.

It looks really small from the outside, but it is one of those long buildings, so it has more room than you might expect. But make no mistake, the place is small compared to the big commercial fabric stores that most towns have. We parked out front and entered. This place is packed to the gills! Every square inch was loaded with fabric, or patterns, parts, accessories and in the back, they even sell vacuum cleaners! We worked our way around the store and my wife found some items she liked. I liked that even though the store is smaller, they had several folks working so that all the customers were being waited upon without delay. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel welcome. As you might expect, the amount of fabric here isn't as large as some of the bigger quilt shops, but they do have a nice selection. I can't help it, the daffodils and hyacinths pop through and I'm off to the races. I grew up in Union City with Wasson's as our go-to nursery. I had fun taking my kiddos this past weekend to see what we bushes and annuals we could find to finish off our landscaping. We were a little too early for some of the items but found some strata and eyed some purchases for down the road. The greenhouses are such a fun escape- even on a rainy day. My hey offer trees, bird baths, hanging baskets, vegetables, seeds, bushes, mulch and more. They also offer landscaping design services. Inside the shop they offered a sweet little Earth Day "Craft" for kids to plant their own seeds in a compostable container (a cake cone- clever!). Ours is already in the garden and we can't wait to see what comes of it. Overall, a lovely and nostalgic visit for our crew.

The staff are extremely knowledgeable. This isn't a box store just a good group of people in a small town selling lumber, hardware and supplies. You know one of those road trips on a freezing cold day where the sun is bright and sunny but it chills you to the bone if you get out of your car without a winter coat. But this place was worth the trip from the parking spot to the store. I was greeted upon arrival by the owner. Her picture is attached and I found her very helpful. I couldn't believe the selection. Plus she have a nice array of quilts on the walls to show what could be done with both panels and with piecing. The lighting was nice and bright- tha fabric colors just danced. The pricing was great. I have seen much higher prices at much bigger quilt shops, and this one, although not huge it certainly would satisfy my needs if I lived here in Ohio. I don't live in Ohio, but I do love to come to Greenville, and this has given me one more reason to come and spend some time looking at everything she has to offer. I understand she will be included in the Ohio shop hop in 2026. I think I'll make a trip over for that one.!
