My 11 year old…read moredog has Chronic Heart Failure and I was taking him in to have an emergency procedure at the vet , but needed to get a replacement leash quickly before I took him in . There was a woman who helped me as I carried my sick dog . She showed kindness and caring . She personally got everything I needed for me and helped me . I was really sad and scared for my dog and this staff showed true compassion and helped me when I needed it. It really made a difference. I wish I caught her name . She worked 2/3/2026 opening the store in Hanford. I really appreciate that time effort and kindness and I highly recommend this business to anyone who is looking . He had to be euthanized and being someone who had not gone through this process before emotions were very high. The staff was so caring and compassionate they treated our boy as if he was their own. Afterwords we were able to leave out of the side door so we didn't have to walk through the lobby. That extra step made things so much easier. They handled the cremation and had him back to us in a week. I am just extremely grateful for Lacey Animal Hospital for their compassion,kindness and clearly their love for our pets.

Officially classified as a money grab statistic, and for all intents and purposes they charged me $522 yes five hundred and twenty two dollars for the process and the wood container they put him in. If this doesn't scream they don't care about customers I don't know what does. Will not bring my pets here ever again and I only brought them here because Hanford Vet was bad customer service too. REVISION: Michelle responded quickly to my one-star review and I want to change that to a four-star review, because everything I've read sounds like she's amazing and wonderful, and she responded to my complaint very quickly. I was in a car accident a few months ago and have a herniated disc in my neck, and two pinched nerves with bulging discs in my back, plus I twisted my knee a couple of days ago on top of that. So I've been in a lot of pain and was really hurting and stressed out. This is going to be a long story, but I want you to understand there were some serious extenuating circumstances to my rude review. I was meeting some prior very special students of mine from Bakersfield, who I rarely get to see, and who had taken the train to visit me at the Renaissance Faire. They were only going to be here for a little while, as they were taking the train back home at 2:30 pm, so I was REALLY struggling to get ready to meet them (it's really hard to get dressed quickly when you're in all of this pain ). Then I tried to get in my car and I realized my knee had gotten so swollen I couldn't get it to bend enough to do that. So then I was really freaked out. I have a wonderful private driver I use now and then when my car is in the shop or I have to go to the train station, and I called him but he was on an out-of-town pick-up and couldn't get to me quickly. So I tried three more people and was really frustrated that no one answered their phone. So that's the state of mind I was in Michelle, when I wrote that review, and I apologize and thank you for your quick response. Upon…read morearrival I told them my concerns that my dog may possibly have dandruff so they said they would make sure to use a hypo allergenic shampoo on him & even gave me recommendations that this could be allergies from either his food or seasonal allergies. My Dobby boy has bad separation anxiety plus he just hates the groomers, so he can be high maintenance. They took wonderful care of him & even let me know he was very vocal about hating his nails trimmed! They did an amazing job & we will definitely be back! Attention pet owners!…read more I want to give you all a heads up about the Canine Comfort Creek...... My wife took two of our dogs in for grooming yesterday. When she came to pick them up she saw one of our dogs in the kennel with another strange dog. That's concerning enough, but then they tried to hand her the strange dog and said that that was our dog. When my wife said no, that's not our dog, they said, are you sure? As though we're not going to know our own dog. They even put our dog's collar on the wrong dog. After a few moments someone brought our dog out from the back, not wearing a collar, they apologized, but that's it. There's so many things that could have gone wrong in this situation. Our dog could have been picked up by anyone disreputable enough to leave their own dog behind. Could have gone to a dog fighter, or an elderly lady with poor eyesight could have picked her up and taken her home not realizing the difference. Not to mention the fact that they put our dog in a kennel with an unfamiliar dog, we don't know that dog, that dog could have parvo for all we know, or it could have been aggressive, or have fleas and ticks, any number of things could have happened in that kennel because of their mistake. This is not acceptable and needs to be brought to the attention of the public. I would exercise extreme caution using that particular company's service.
