I was shopping for a new Mattress, mine was 35 yrs. old & had been perfect for me. Double sided…read morepillowtop, which apparently is no longer made, & can't remember brand but of course no longer available so I had to start all over! I went to 2 big Mattress shops with no luck for a few reasons. First, I have a very high antique canopy bed so needed a mattress 8-10 inches high, NO HIGHER or I wouldn't be able to get on or off it even with the stool I now use. Very hard to find today. For some reason the 2 stores were pushing a boxspring that is adjustable & would raise your head. I didn't want that! Sales personnel was very pushy & kept insisting I would love what they had even when not what I asked for. At age 80 I know exactly what I like & what I want, they do not! So I left & began looking on line but most of those were either shipped in a SMALL box or took weeks to ship & receive. Then I saw Beds4LESS, a locally owned store owned by Jason Feder. He is also the salesman so there all the time. Jason is delightful, engages his customers to find out exactly what type of mattress you are interested in buying. NO pressure to hurry & buy. Very impressed when another buyer walked in & he greeted the customer, told him to please look around without missing a beat with or leaving us. Unfortunately he didn't have what I wanted but was about to get a new shipment. I left, looked more & went back several days later. I bought a 10" mattress & bought a smaller (5") boxspring on Amazon. I would positively recommend both Beds4LESS & Jason.

I am going to echo everything everyone else has said on this page. Jason is awesome! I went to…read moreBeds4Less looking for a plush King mattress, and Jason totally hooked it up. He wore a mask the whole time and I felt very safe shopping because of all the Covid precautions that were taken. It doesn't look like they may have a lot of mattresses in the showroom, but they have a whole warehouse that sometimes has 50+ mattresses back there. I only bought a mattress and not a boxspring (I already had an adjustable one), but so far, no complaints! Have slept great for the last week. The deals are really great here. They aren't kidding when they say, Beds 4 Less! I ended up not opting to get it delivered and picked it up myself. I wouldn't recommend skipping the delivery option. Getting the massive mattress upstairs with a friend was a DOOZY. Def would opt to use the moving company they partner with next time. You can also finance a mattress through SNAP and if you pay it off within 100 days, you don't pay any interest on it.

We went to Wholesale Mattress and Factory, Inc. a few years ago. It offers the various mattress types made in twin sizes for customers to try out. The staff was always very knowledgeable and helpful, though. What makes Wholesale Mattress and Factory different is that they really do manufacture the mattresses they sell here in Baton Rouge. They will make the mattress with the firmness you want, with or without memory foam and with or without a pillow top. They are even able to make mattresses that are different on each side of the bed. If one partner wants a firmer mattress than the other, MW & F can make a mattress that suits them both. Here's the kind of customer service they offer: we'd had a four-poster bed made. When they came out to deliver our new mattress and box springs, the new mattress sat much too high on the bed. MW & F took the box springs (which is really only a fabric covered box) back, made us a much thinner box springs to fit our bed perfectly and delivered it at no extra charge! Maybe the best thing about MW & F is the prices. We were able to buy two high quality, custom made mattress and box springs sets for less than any of the mattress stores wanted to charge for one! There are no secrets about how to make a great mattress. MW & F can make mattresses just as good or better than the name brands and sell them for much less. My wife and I will never go anywhere else.

Every time I purchased something from here there's some sort of quality issue…read more A few years back I purchased my daughter a white bedroom set and nearing a year later it began peeling and a couple points in the design chipped. She's always been serious about taking care of her things so I know it was because it was particle board. A few years ago my brother bought a sofa from them via the the store credit and was up charged $1,000 more than what was discussed due to "shipping/handling" $1,000, seriously? Because "it had left the store" there was nothing to be done, just accept that his credit was foiled for a few years. Today is the last straw, I toured around shopping for a specific style of sofa, came across a decent one, the sales guy pointed out a scuff on the top back, which was ok. He noted that we could rent a truck from the home depot next door to pick up the sofa, which was a good idea. Once we got the sofa to the house, we noticed the whole bottom side is scuffed, with the sofa still on the truck. After dropping the truck back at home depot we stopped in and talked to the manager, Willie Franklin and was told REPEATEDLY how once it left the store, it's our fault because that could've happened once it left the premises. After making his point I tried to explain the situation, just so he can get an understanding of where I'm coming from. Instead he was very unreceptive and obstinate to say it plainly. Moral of the story THOROUGHLY INSPECT YOUR ITEMS, take notes and pictures, BEFORE LEAVING the store, or just don't take the chance. I'm relieved to say I won't ever shop here again.
