She recommended I upgrade my facial to have Korean bubbles which would help clear out blackheads (which I have). I appreciated she wasn't too pushy when I declined. The facial itself was less than mediocre, because I was left alone for at least 30 minutes. The beginning face wash, massage, and mask was nice. I started to fall asleep, but I woke up to hearing her playing videos outside the room on her phone. Since I was awake, I was aware of the time I was left in there. It felt sooooo long for my "hour" facial. I then heard a lady come in and ask about prices and services loudly. Then I heard some sort of package delivery guy come in. Then, I heard her play videos again. I felt my face and realized I had a PAPER mask on. I have tons of those at home, and I felt like the price I paid was not worth a 30 minute nap and paper mask. I was counting down the time when she came back in 5 minutes before the hour and put on some moisturizer for me. She gave me a coupon for next time at check out and advised the upgrade again, but I won't be coming back.

My nail artist (didn't catch her name, sorry!) was SO meticulous with my nails. So very detail oriented. And the best part is that I don't think I bled or felt aggressiveness at all. What I appreciate about my service here is that I didn't feel rushed. She took her time until she was satisfied with her work. Truly, a rare sighting in a nail salon. The packaging however is HORRENDOUS. The lip oil that came in a tube shape separated from the top spilling all over my backpack. The lip jar leaked all over my purse even though it was closed. So I went back and asked her to remake it. Because both of the issues were due to faulty packaging I thought she would remake it for a reduced rate, however it was full price minus the cost of the containers. I had them remade and she told me to store them in the fridge. I did that and now it's separated, which she did tell me is normal. I have it standing up on my vanity and it's completely leaking even though I haven't touched them. Good colors but horrible cheap packaging.

It's a beautiful palette. At the time I had never heard of Melt Cosmetics or seen a review on YouTube. I'm one of those lunatics who watches all the booty gurus like a 16 year old. I joined the waitlist. Finally got an email that the palette was available. I logged on at 4am, hypothetical money in hand, and bought it. I was so excited when it arrived. The box it came in is so stinkin' cuuute and there were stickers and a lighter. Like I thought the lighter was some old skool chola eyeliner thing but I was informed by savvy kids it's a lighter for "smoking" because Smoke Sessions. Ohhhh. Okay. Don't mind me I'm just someone's Mom in my cardigan and ballet flats, dude. The palette was broken. I was broken when I saw it. One of the eyeshadows was cracked and broken and the debris from that break was all over the product. Even though it was wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap and the box was stuffed with tons of tissue paWhich leads me to believe it was broken before it shipped. I almost cried. Yeah. Over makeup. So dramatic. But that thing cost $56 and sold out. The thought of having to return it or get a refund and maybe not get another really bugged me out. I thought about swatching it to see if it was worth keeping broken but I was worried the company would be like: "Well you uuuused it" (whiny customer service voice) and not give me my money back.
