I saw many different therapists and no one could really help me. However, in just a few weeks, my life has changed! Lifespan Integration, the therapy modality Justus D'Addario uses, is completely different than traditional talk-therapy. In LI, you don't do a whole lot of talking, explaining or describing. It's a somatic-based therapy. The mind and body are simultaneously employed to process the past and clear trauma. It's also quick! Problems evaporate in just a few sessions (versus a few years like talk-therapy). Justus is very friendly, easy to connect with, and is simply delightful. Also, I love his office! Tons of amazing, beautiful plants! It's an oasis in there. THANK YOU Renton Family Therapy!

She was able to make me feel totally relaxed so that I was able to follow her guidance easily. The sessions were not only relaxing, which helped greatly with general stress levels, but working with her allowed me to be myself, to let go and to trust that she was taking me through a transformation or shift. When each of the sessions were finished, I felt a clear sense of that shift and was able to go about my day, free of the emotions that were otherwise getting in the way. Very liberating! With confidence, I highly recommend working with Sage. She is empathetic, compassionate, and gentle but also thorough in getting to the heart of the matter and helping work through the issues at hand.

She draws upon this experience to bring a genuine understanding and sensitivity to my needs. My own journey has sent me through a series of hardships over the past several years (health issues, divorce, anxiety, financial loss, sleeplessness, a major career change, etc.) and every time, Sage has confidently helped me reframe my perspective of things. No matter what I am going through, she has strategies to offer me hope. While it is always up to me to actually implement the plans, Sage is an invaluable and trusted resource to design these blueprints for action. I was having an issue with a friend, and she snapped, "Think about it from their point of view!" and "That must be so hard for THEM." Nothing about how I was feeling, even though I was the one in counseling. I only went to two sessions and they both ended a few minutes early. During the last session, she kept telling me she had to leave right after the session to beat traffic. She literally left the office right behind me and sped off in her car. It didn't feel like counseling - I felt like I was chit-chatting with my judgmental aunt or something.

This job has been the perfect gig for me as I've gotten through the toughest years of parenthood with a generous and supportive boss and flexible hours, but it is going away very soon. My style has always been to bury my head in the sand when change is coming. This time, I decided it was time to be brave and face it head on. Starting up with Christine as my career coach was scary, but just exactly what I needed. She helped me find the courage and will to approach my future responsibly. She helped me learn to accept myself and even honor myself, and to stop comparing myself to others. Since seeing her, I have taken on a new course in Web design, as well as other goals for my personal well-being. Christine felt like a wise guide during our time together. Each session immediately picked up where the last had ended. She never missed a beat. She was never arbitrarily prescriptive, but instead gave me assignments that seemed to spring naturally from my own self-knowledge. I am so grateful for our time together and am keeping her in my toolbox, in case I feel in the future that I could use a little "tune-up." I would recommend her, without reservation, to anyone in search of a fantastic coach.
