From the time you enter into the office your are greeted and taken care of by two wonderful ladies, Leanne and Ellen. Both are very knowledgeable and eager to help with all appointments and concerns. Personal I love the ability to go downstairs and have a massage by Matthew, then go back upstairs and finish my visit with my Chiropractor Dr. Mark, his skills and patience to ensure all your concerns are addressed and worked on. When life happens and you need extra visits, they always manage to get you in promptly and help with the issue. I appreciate the care I am given here and hope to continue for many years. But after suffering for many years from back pains of various types and more recently severe pains in my right leg, standard doctors could only recommend pain killers and variety of other drugs that did not seem to alleviate my problems. After a close friend recommended seeing a chiropractor and informed me that the results they were getting were substantial and quite dramatic, using modern technologies to work the nervous system, I decided to visit Smiths Falls Family Chiropractic. Immediately after explaing my concerns and the potential of surgery for what I thought might ve the source of my pain, Fraser Smith, took me over across the hall for an Xray of my back and quickly pinpointed and showed me clearly where the problem was and why it was causing me such pain. He quickly informed me that surgery was not necessary and that he could address and fix the problem over time and the proceeded to apply my first adjustment with instant relief and for me, a renewed hope of eventually being able to move more freely and comfortably. I have since had several visits with Fraser and I am feeling better already and enjoying the benefits of their natural approach. Everyone working at the Chiropractic Centre is friendly and focused on the well being of their patients. The approach is a holistic one, natural and focused on the nervous system. They do not prescribe or encourage the use of drugs and medication but rather the power of the human body to heal itself with the adjustments they provide as well as the patient's awareness of their own bodies. I cannot say enough about how well I feel in such a short time and how positive the experience has been for me and will continue to be at Smiths Falls Family Chiropractic. I just had to write a review for Back on Track. My husband…read morehas been a patient of Back on Track for as many years as I can remember to treat a variety of long-term ailments. On July 6th I sustained a pretty severe concussion. After mentioning this to Back on Track through casual conversation, my husband raced to the phone to tell me there may be some help for me. I was discouraged, suffering from constant headaches, light sensitivity, loss of balance, confusion, inability to multi-task, decreased ability to effectively communicate, extreme fatigue, dizziness, light headed, I am sure I am missing a couple of symptoms but you get the point. The hardest part of all of this is how it has affected me socially. It is hard to believe that a concussion can change the way you feel and how you interact around others. I have realized how much brain power is required to do the little things like listening to more than one conversation at a time or typing while speaking on the phone. I started to see Dr. Ashleah Linden (chiropractor) right away. Not only has Ashleah taken the time to listen, she has made herself available by phone and email as required. This is September 17th, I have been seeing Ashleah about once a week since my injury. She has provided me not only Chriropractic services but also helped me regain my confidence. Most of my symptoms have alleviated significantly since going to Back on Track, some will only heal with time. I have started to socialize again and this past weekend was the first time I have laughed and felt good around people in a long time. Thank you Kelly Blackman for getting me in as soon as you heard. I am starting to feel more like myself, you have both changed my life as I know it today and I thank you from the bottom of my heart! Although I have months of healing to go I am on my way to recovery. If anyone you know is suffering from concussion like symptoms, please take it seriously. Don't just relax and rest and hope for it to go away, it can get worse. I strongly recommend Back on track as your first stop after seeing your family doctor.
