Ashlene was our barber and she works on Sundays. We loved that! It's sometimes hard to be a new client because a lot of places are booked so many weeks out with their regular clientele. We booked this, then thought...wait is this right...its Sunday! It was quiet in the shop and Ashlene was great! What worked? She took clients on Sunday. There was no one in the shop Ashlene was great to work with, asked us what we wanted and listed to us. The shop was clean and large with interesting memorabilia/decor Ashlene held the door open and helped me get inside. The shop was easy to find Parking was available and sufficient. We have a pretty big truck and its not always easy to find a spot for a 23' dually. What did not work? Not the most accessible location. I was on crutches and there was no ramp that made it easy to access. I had to go up a pretty good step and I was still working on balance and no load bearing on my right leg. As a first timer you get offered a free shampoo, but I had just washed my hair before going so I skipped this step. They have TVs in front of every chair so kinda nice to watch football on a Sunday while getting a hair cut. My stylist was very talkative and seemed a bit nervous which wasn't very relaxing. She pulled off a decent cut while talking my ear off. I was a walk in and listed as First Available. I watched as a bunch of the stylist played busy to valid the new walk in client until finally there was only me to pick from. I waited beyond my 20mins I was told when I walked in as they did their best to avoid selecting the Walk-in first available client. Don't know if I'll go back - but perhaps as a registered client now it may go better. I would recommend making an appointment before going so you don't end up in the shuffle waiting game if you're a first timer.
