I went to Dr. Fattore as an angry college student. The year was 2005, and I had had enough. I was…read moregoing to fight my insurance company for the breast reduction I desperately needed. I had exactly one year to make it happen - then I would be kicked off my parents' insurance plan. I met with Dr. Fattore and he was immediately receptive to my ideas. He didn't seem judgmental or dismissive or anything of that nature. He discussed the procedure, allayed my mother's fears and gave me a rundown of the risks. He took my "before" pictures and essentially said, "let's do this." This review is a paean to the entire office. Especially his secretary, Cindy (I hope she's still with him). Let me tell you something, readers -- this entire office worked relentlessly to get my insurance company to cover my surgery. They bent over backwards. They sent Polaroids by mail to the company because they wouldn't accept digital photos. They spent hours on the phone. For months. Not just a couple of weeks or something like that. MONTHS. We were in such close contact that Cindy could actually recognize both my voice and my mother's voice when we called. Just before winter vacation, the insurance company approved my surgery. I was scheduled for surgery maybe a week and a half after the approval. Tops. I checked into Norwood hospital. I was a bit nervous while being prepped for surgery. He let me know that he was going to use his best judgment regarding my comfort as well as aesthetics. I'd like to say I was wheeled into surgery feeling incredibly confident and happy, but I don't actually remember anything after that point because of the sedative. I checked out the next morning (okay, it was Norwood Hospital, so early afternoon) with my new boobs and a permanent grin slapped on my face (the latter free of charge, well, the copay for the painkillers probably helped with maintenance). Insurance covered everything except the deductible. Follow-ups were great. The entire office was just so happy for me and I was so satisfied with the results. The worst office visit I ever had was to remove my drains, and that was only because it felt really freaking weird. They have a reflector thing stuck to the ceiling above the chair, so you have something to look at when they advise you to look away (supposedly it wasn't intentional - it was just there when they moved in). And his office was great - really warm and inviting. His assistant was great at distracting me, especially when I had some drainage problems and they had to suction some stuff out (when they say "don't look" it's because they're going to stick you with a ridiculously long needle). It wasn't nearly as bad as it sounds, and nothing at the follow-up visits ever hurt. And they were super helpful over the phone as well. I went back to my apartment in Boston a week after surgery, so they fielded a couple of "I can't come into the office, but is it okay that my nipple looks orange?" "Yes, Erin. It's probably just a scab. You don't have to freak out." Yeah, it was a scab. One of the best things Cindy suggested to me was to use maxi pads instead of gauze during the healing process and she was so incredibly right. I saved money and I didn't have to tape things to my bra. It's been two years since my surgery (January of 2006), and I am still overjoyed with the results. My clothes fit; I feel confident, and best of all - no back pain! I still have scars, and I know I'll always have them, but they don't bother me at all. My shape is great and I'm finally in proportion to the rest of my body. "Satisfied" doesn't even begin to cover it. Setting foot in Dr. Fattore's office was the best decision I've ever made. (If you're interested in getting breast reduction surgery for medical need, feel free to contact me. I'll give you as much advice as I possibly can)

I NEVER complained about neuropathy because I only experienced pain. However, when I got a copy of my medical records, he stated that I had neuropathy. Unfortunately, we moved forward with carpal tunnel surgery and although the pain went away, for the first time I began experiencing neuropathy, only minutes after the surgery was performed. I don't even know where to begin with this place. I needed a referral close to home to get my back examined. My doctor found Orthopaedic Specialists and suggested I call them since they are the closest. When I called the first time to book an appointment, the receptionist was extremely unprofessional when she spoke to me. Before I could even book a time for the appointment the receptionist puts me on hold for over 10 minutes and never clicked back over so I was forced to hang up since I was still at work. No one ever called me back so I had to reach back out a few days later to book my much needed appointment. I provided them with my insurance and asked for an estimate of my out of pocket fee for xrays. I was informed between $30-$50, and I was fine with that as I was in excruciating pain and needed to get checked out. Fast forward to the actual appointment. The doctor was nice and very professional, the other staff were "ok". A few weeks after my appointment I received a bill in the mail for over $200. This amount was unexpected because this is not what I was quoted upon scheduling my initial appointment. From here it continues to get worse and worse. This place has been bombarding me numerous times throughout the day with calls from different numbers, daily text messages, letters in the mail, and multiple emails regarding a past due balance that I don't even know what it's for. I'm pretty sure there are some laws that prohibit this type of harassment and I intend to look into this myself because I've never had to deal with this ever before EVER. Today I'm receiving threatening text messages on a Saturday about being placed in collections. I will NEVER go back to this place ever again and urge anyone considering going here to look elsewhere. I will be finding somewhere else for treatment as I find their business tactics desperate and repulsive.

Norwood Hospital - This is how "clean" it is here in Norwood Hospital ER. FILTHY!

Norwood Hospital ER/Norwood Hospital is sometimes good and sometimes bad"…read more The Bad: I broke my wrist when I was 11 years old and it took them two days to figure out it was broken before call my family to have it properly set. My elderly mother waited 4 hours in the ER waiting room to be seen with a broken hip! The dip$hit at the admiting desk could only make excuses. Life does not do excuses, ony results. My elderly mother died in this hospital and the some of the nurses could not be bothered to change her soiled beding. I had to go down day and night to ensure that that they attended to her in a proper fashion. I did this for 11 days and it took it's toll on me. My father died here. I came down to make arrangements for his removal at 2AM in the morning go to the funeral home and they did not close his eyes. He just lay there looking at the ceiling. He had been dead for an hour. I closed his eyes. He had an undiagnosed clot that killed him. He had complained of pain in his right leg, groin, and hip for several days prio to his passing. The 2 Cardiac bozos masquerading as MD's wanted to put a pace maker in him 5 days before he died He had terminal cancer and only had a few weeks at most to live anyway. My family doctor stopped that nonsense. The still failed to identify the clot and he suffered with that pain for 4 days before passing on. I once waited 12 hours to be discharged while I had the flu and the only thing they could do was give me fluids and send me home. It should have taken 4 hours to figure out that information, provide the fluids and send me home. The three Department of Correction Facilities (Maximum and Medium prisons) in Walpole and Norfolk frequently send inmates here. It is extremely commont to have one and two armed uniformed DOC officers guarding prisoners at the hospital in the ER and impatient wards for injuries and sickness. This is not comforting when you consider that your loved one might be right next store. Send the bad boys to the Shattuck State Hospital which has an ER Department, inpatient facilities and clinics where they belong and stop sending them to a community hospital. You can witness the DOC being in the hospital by seeing the DOC silver Vans packed outside the ER motor entrance day and night. It is also very common to have local police in the ER trying to put the moves on the nurses and get a date. The firefighters seem to have better luck. It must be something about uniforms I guess? The good: The surgery for cancer that my mother had prolonged her life for another year. She was almost 90 when she passed away. I was born here and have had minor surgery here several times and they treated me well. Parting commment about the local situation: The hospital is not maintained and that is why it flooded and is being torn down and rebuilt. The Moral: If you have something really wrong with you, go to Newton Wellesley, South Shore Hospital or in town and do not mess with the big bandaid station in Norwood. They are reducing the bed capacity and all but eliminating Pediatrics in the new facility. There are many good people at Norwood Hospital but the administration does not care about patients or staff. They were and will continue to be a profit center and nothing more for those who control the medical system that Norwood operates under.

I came to this place with high expectations because I had a bad Botox experience about a month ago…read morein which I had to go back 2 separate times for fixes and it was still not corrected. I sought out another med spa for a touch up and to only lift my eyebrows. When I talked to the girl on the phone I told her I needed just an eyebrow lift which would be about 4 units total. 2 units above each eye. She said on Wednesday's it's $9 per unit. Cool! That's a good deal! I've been getting Botox for years and know my face and know how much Botox I need to get the desired affect. With already having 40 units in my face over the last month I didn't need much more to reached the arches eyebrows. My Appt was at 230p. I was told to come about 15min early to fill out paperwork. At 305p I was finally taken back. Long wait time. Botox appts should only last 15min. I should of already been done by then. I told the doctor and 2 assistants I wanted 4 units (2 on each side). As he was mixing the Botox he made the proper marks where the Botox would go and injected me. I thanked them and walked to the front to pay. Thinking it was going to be $36, the girl says $120. I was like what?! She started to make some phone calls to the back in which she said they injected me with 14 units. Why on earth would a doctor inject someone who already had a whole forehead full of Botox with 14 more units. I said I only asked for 4. She wanted to argue with me and kept telling me that's what the doctor injected. I said no, I didn't ask for that. Then another woman came out from the back who I'd never seen before and said that they injected me with 14 units. I said who are you, you weren't even in the room. The doctor never once came out to explain anything. Just these incompetent women who know nothing I'm sure about Botox but are just going through motions because they work there. I said I'm not paying for 14 units as I didn't ask for that, nor did I need that, and how do I even know if that's how much he put in my face. It could of all been a scam. I said well I'm only paying for 4 units. She said well it's $10 per unit. Again, another scam, when I was told it was $9 per unit on the phone a week before. I was so heated and my blood pressure was raged by this time. I tossed $40 on the counter and walked out. Steer far far away from this place. They are rude, do not listen to their patients, try to scam them for more money and do not know a thing about injectables. On top of that the doctor recommended lip implants because I told him my Juvederm didn't hold from a prior session I had done back home. I never said once I wanted anything permanent in my face! WTF!!! DO NOT GO HERE! The worst! I've concluded from the 2 med spas in Boston that I've went to that I've had horrible experiences at, that I will go back to Vegas for any future cosmetic injections. I feel the spas back home are more trained and professional about the products and listen to what their clients ask.
