So my brother goes into city hall to ask, "what's with Dundler Mifflin?" The reply was, "Oh, we love the show, so we thought it'd be fun to use Dundler Mifflin around the city." That cracked me up. Recently moved from Maryland to PA and I have to say this is the best DMV I've ever been to!! Super…read morequick and fast service. Even quicker than going to a McDonald's line lol. They open at 8:30-4pm. I got there at 8:50 & was out of there at 9:25!!!! The place has enough parking and easy to find. I went there to get a new license, and there was No line!!! Like wow. The info lady gave me a paper and sent me right over to a counter immediately!! I had printed a form out online to save some time but even if I didn't it wouldn't have taken long to fill out. The workers were super friendly to me and very nice to each other. Given I am an African American I was worried about my picture looking like a sharpie dot. But even without asking the lady taking my picture(Cathy) had me come a little closer to the camera and made sure I liked my picture before registering it. I'd def recommend this DMV to anyone new to the area and looking for a place to go. Its cost $37 dollars to get a néw license as someone moving into the state, but I opted to get the real ID added on so it cost $67($30 extra). Real ID isn't mandatory in PA rn cuz they extended the deadline till 2025 but it will be required then so you might as well get it done now. They even gave me a paper with all the tag and registration places close by so I can get that done too. They don't do that at this location. The lady referred me to Leonard's by the Wegmans in Wilkesbarre. Hope this helps

We are from California and went to Niagara Falls and with all the driving we desperately needed to sleep. We intended to rest for five minutes so we kept the truck running for the heater. Next thing you know a woman is at the driver's window asking us to turn the engine off because it was generating fumes. Two hours had passed with the truck running and all 5 of us sleeping! Oops! Well, this woman, who we believed worked for the library in some capacity, was the kindest and sweetest ever. She gave us a bag of animal cookies, chocolate, water, juice, and showed us where the bathrooms were. She didn't leave the truck til we assured her we were okay to drive. "God bless, we love you " she said. She really exemplified that love. She helped turn a rough nite of driving into a funny and completely unexpected experience. I will forever associate the North Pocono Library with this kindness and generosity. Plus they have a great community garden!!

Originally purchased by the Gorman family in 1967 for $5,000 (the price of a Caddy at the time) in order to draw-in visitors to their farm. They held a contest that year to name her and the winner was "Three-O-Nina" (named after the 309 Highway she's situated next to) and they received a brand-new color TV! She is now currently owned, and maintained, by the Krugel family, who owns Krugel's Deli & Beer next door. Nina is one of those fun roadside attractions that one must stop to visit when traveling through Central PA. After all in 2010 she was named in Parade Magazine's top roadside attraction in PA! I particularly enjoy silly things like this―as it always puts me in good mooood. Sorry. I had to go there... ;-p
