I previously booked A-1 for a birthday event with a group of friends. The driver was awesome and…read moredefinitely deserves five stars, however I had a negative experience with their office personnel. I called a couple of days before the event to confirm the pick up time and pricing and the man who answered the phone rudely told me "Look, I have several other customers to contact today. We're very busy and I don't have time to confirm with you right now." and then he HUNG UP ON ME. This probably should have been a sign for me to cancel but I thought it would be too late to try and book with someone else. The day before our event a woman called me and was very pleasant and confirmed the pricing with me and said that the price included gratuity. As I said the driver was great! He was very courteous and took us to all the places we wanted to go in a timely manner. At the end of the evening we paid the driver the price that I had confirmed with the woman and also asked him if he felt the payment was fair, and he said it was. Not even 15 minutes after the driver had left the rude man from before called me (this is at 2am!) and asked me, in a very accusing tone by the way, "Is there any reason why you didn't tip the driver?". I explained to him that the woman we talked to the day before had told us that gratuity was included in the final price and that the driver HIMSELF said the payment was fair. The man says that what I was told was wrong and that any other limo service in San Antonio would not be that cheap (he actually laughed at me at this point as if I was supposed to know that). Then he tells me that they can add an additional tip to the credit card that they have on file that I used to make the deposit. I told him no since I had received confirmation from two of his employees that the payment was correct. At this point he tells me that if I don't want to charge it to my card that I can send a check to their office, to which I also denied. I couldn't believe that he was still trying to get more money from me after his own employees had confirmed the price with me. I'm sad that I didn't get this unprofessional man's name because he definitely makes this company look bad in my eyes.

I searched Yelp and did not see much, so I decided to give these guys a shot. Robert was my driver, or maybe I should say my "wonderful" driver. Once again on Monday there he was right on time and ready to go back to the airport. I will definitely recommend this company to any of my customers who are heading south to San Antonio.

He told me "normally you would be asked to throw those drinks away before boarding. If one of them spills on MY bus then I have to get a whole new bus". I told him "first of all does this bus have your name on it? Second of all, the last couple of times I have had a Dutch bros drink on this bus around this time, not one bus driver has been as rude as you. And lastly nor have they asked me to throw away drinks." And he was just quiet after that. I asked him "do you have a child that keeps you up all night when you have to go to work early? I didn't think so dude. I have had a bad week this week. And I will be reporting you to the via people to let them know how much of an ass hole you are."

He had quoted a flat rate and suddenly that is no longer flat. I reminded him that I have an elderly woman and a special needs child- it is not easy to make them comfortable; uber or lyft from Austin to SA is a gamble, and he told me I should be "ashamed for playing that special card". Oh, but he will pray for me so that is super duper because he is a good christian. Go with someone reputable so you don't get screwed with a bait and switch. And thanks to our incredible concert driver, the experience was nothing short of first-class magic. We were picked up right on time with ease, grace, and total professionalism. The vehicle was immaculate -- seriously, it looked like it had just rolled off the showroom floor. Every detail was pristine, and the special touches made us feel like true VIPs. Our driver's personality was warm, calm, and courteous -- just the kind of presence you want when heading into a sold-out Jelly Roll and Post Malone stadium tour. He knew exactly where to go for smooth curbside drop-off and pick-up -- not a moment of stress about traffic, parking, or logistics. For once, my King got to sit back and enjoy the ride -- and y'all, he loved it so much, he looked at me and said, "After 25 years, we are definitely doing this again." This wasn't just a ride -- it was a love story on wheels, and a night we'll always remember. Highly recommend. 10/10. Five stars. Would give more if I could.
