I recently started going here for the sugaring services. Nita is so kind and makes me feel so incredibly comfortable during the sugaring. She always lets me know when she thinks I should prepare myself for a painful removal and does such a thorough job. I never write reviews but this one I had to.. Short version: DONT GO THERE, SHE WILL RUIN YOUR REAL LASHES long version lol: I am from out of town and my friend said she used her years ago and liked her lashes so I booked an appt Thursday. Had some car issues so I text her asking if I could move it to Friday and she gave me a new time no problem. Friday I come for my appointment she is very nice. I had a set of lashes already from another random lash tech that needed a fill and she said they looked crazy and it would be better for her to take them off and put a new set so I said that was fine. During the session I had to tell her a few times about the burning and she said it would go away. Then she was being a little rough and I mentioned it but she attempted to be softer and I was already in the middle of the application so whatever She finished my lashes and they looked pretty so I was happy. I get to my car and see the time and couldn't believe it had only took her an hour to remove my lashes and do a full set. I've had my lashes done for 3 years and nobody has ever come close to that. But I had no problem with that since they looked fine from what I could see 4 days later I see why it was so fast, she had put lash extensions on clumps of my natural lashes instead of a single lash which is how it is supposed to be. So when you glue multiple natural lashes together they grow at different rates so eventually the slower growing ones will get pulled out. So my lashes were feeling weird from this pulling and I text her to tell her the problem and so she could fix it She got super weird and aggressive and said there was no way that happened and was telling me all the people she does lashes for. And she "remembered me" and started making up weird things that I had apparently done (no idea what she was talking about). I told her I would send her a video and she said she didn't want a video and she can remove them for free. I asked if she could fix it not remove and she said "I guess I can deal with you again" LOL So I told her I would write a review because there is no way I would let a crazy person that makes things up and is aggressive touch my face, I thought she was normal from my appointment but clearly she's not. She's nice unless you tell her that her work is bad (which it is) Don't let her mess up your real lashes, you wouldn't even know because they look fine, Honestly I wouldn't have known if my lash techs hadn't explained this to me in the past she just didn't realize I know how lashes are applied. Not nice lady getting over on people to take less time tisk tisk It wouldn't let me post a video so I put a few pictures to show what is all over my eyes And I'm sure she will respond to this because she is ..... so you can see for yourself lol read more

This place is the worst! After I got my eyebrows done, I called to tell the owners that the dye didn't work and didnt change the color of my brows as promised. I wanted a touch up. I was rudely talked to and then was hung up on and my phone number was blocked. I tried messaging on social media and was Blocked there as well. I have never dealt with a business who wouldn't try to correct a situation and make the customer Happy to come back time and time again. I am shocked at how I was Treated. . This business doesn't even deserve 1 star! They did a horrible job on my eyebrows, not doing what I asked them to but the exact opposite. Also, this is a fraudulent business! Elena Maximova (Owner) asked me to cancel my Groupon voucher for the microblading session saying she'll honor the $188 Groupon price if I paid them directly. The eyebrow artist, Sergei, did not do what I asked him to - to make my eyebrows thick and level, instead he made them very high-arched so I look like a "freak"! I called back asking them to fix them - it was a simple fix, he just needed to elevate the front of the eyebrows and it'd have taken 10-15 minutes. Elena Maximova refused to fix my brows, insulted me in text messages, and started a fraudulent campaign saying I "owed them an additional $600 since the procedure was $800", however, we never agreed to $800; we agreed to $200. I reported Luxury Lashes to the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. Beware, this is a fraudulent business, they do a very poor job, they're rude and treat customers like dirt. I definitely recommend Elena and her salon! My friend has been getting her eyelashes done there and suggested that I check it out. I am pretty conservative about any kind of beauty enhancement services and always worry about looking fake. However, Elena was able to achieve exactly the look I was going for. My eyelashes look really natural, yet longer, thicker and more luscious comparing to my natural ones. I love that I don't have to waste time putting mascara on every day. A few friends noticed that something changed about my look, but couldn't say what it was. Exactly the reaction I wanted to get! Eyelash removal: For the life of me, I couldn't get my eyelashes off and the salon I went to have them installed couldn't get to me until next week. This was my first ever lash install for a special occasion I attended the week prior so the lashes were just over a week old. After poorly removing my right eyelash and giving myself a headache, I decided to have a professional do my left side. I called Luxury Lashes and was provided an appointment the same day. I went in at 4:00 and walked out at 4:18. She was gentle with removal after applying the adhesive and having me lay with my eyes closed for 15mins. I was also given a discount since she was only doing one side. I'm happy about that!!! I'm also thrilled I decided to head in because I received a $50 gift certificate for eyelash installation. I'm tempted to return if I ever decide to get lashes again. The spot is very clean and right behind the 7-Ellen with plenty of free parking. These two people her "husband" Sergei are both crooks. She charged me $300 and did not even spend an hour with me. She has no certifications, and has not been trained and tries to get away with it. She lies . She gave me back a $100, because she said I had no eyelashes for her to work with, and I went to a real professional, who had no trouble making me look beautiful. Do not waste your time - she will make you feel like she is going to do the best job ever, but once you pay her, she could care less. I am going to report them to the Maryland Board of Health andf make sure they are put out of business. When you talk to her, the vibes make you feel very doubtful about her and my gut instinct was right. When I went back to her so she could see what had been done by another aesthetician, she told me my eyes were red, and I must be allergic to the new lashes. My eyes were red, because I suffer from dry eye syndrome. She makes me want to puke. If you don't care about throwing your money away, she is your girl !!!!!!! read more

I have never written a review before, but I feel the need to make sure everyone knows my lashes experience at this place so others won't become a victim like me. I have been a client of Elena's since 2015, I found her through the XtremeLashes website. For the first couple of years, she was doing my lashes at her own apartment before she rented an office space and she was very professional and provided a great service. A few years went by, she started being late for my appointments, answering calls and texting during my lashes sessions. After a few times with the same behaviors, I finally asked her not to be late for my appointment because I would be late for my other appointment at other place. Then she "fired" me. Elena does not take criticism well and the moment when a customer complains about her service, she "fires" you. A few weeks after she "fired" me, she apologized so I went back to her for the lashes service again because I believed everyone deserves a second chance. Well I was wrong again!!! She was very professional when I went back, but again, as time went by, she was always late, texting, answering calls, talking to her husband during my lashes sessions and kept switching my appointments at the last minute and gave me excuses such as she was sad about her cats, her hands were shaking, she had events to go to, etc. Today 12/4/20 I just got my lashes done again by Elena, as soon as I got home, my lashes were falling out. I texted her about it, and she told me she would fix it but told me this would be the last time she would do my lashes, then blamed me that I wasn't flexible when she wanted to switch my appointments at the last minute. I would NOT recommend Luxury Lashes to anyone because Elena doesn't treat her customers right and is super unprofessional because she thinks it's okay to text, answer calls, be late for customer's appointments. This shop is so sketchy and highly unprofessional!! Run by a husband/wife team and the husband ( Sergjes) did my brows. Firstly, he told me that up until recently he was in the construction business and I saw his license from PhiBrow which he got only about a year ago. OK. I used a Living Social coupon so I accepted that as fine, he's learning. However, one of the eyebrows was uneven and needed to be fixed. When I called , his wife ( Elena) answered the phone and I told her the situation. She declared that he spent a long time drawing the brows that there was NO WAY he could ever make a mistake. I said" how could that be, we all make mistakes". She was VERY defensive and literally HUNG UP the phone on me. Sergjes called me back about 30 minutes later and apologized for wife's behavior. He said that because I used a Living Social coupon I would need to pay $250 for a 2nd visit to fix it. Is he kidding? So, he he's saying that because I used his coupon he can do a sub-par job and then try to charge me to fix it!!?! We argued about that for a bit, but he finally agreed that after the brows heal a bit he will fix it no charge. So 6 days later after they fully healed I called...and called...and emailed twice...and called...and then last week I even stopped by the shop a few days ago and left a handwritten note on the receptionist chair for him to call me ( they don't usually have a receptionist so no one was in the reception area and wife was working on a client in the back. He has yet to make good on his word to fix my lop-sided brows. He LIED...So unprofessional!! To top it all off, when I was there, they had a 3 CATS in the lobby area playing on a blanket on the reception area floor. I wish I took a picture then, but I didn't think about it. I adore cats, but IT'S ILLEGAL TO HAVE PETS IN AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE STERILE PROCEDURES ARE BEING PERFORMED! Totally unhygienic and frankly, it shows no common sense on the owners part to have shedding animals running around their shop. Ewww. Find somewhere else to go...Trust me! It was a nightmare with horrible experience with this merchant. I purchased a Groupon for a Full Set of Classic Luxury Eyelash Extensions with One Refill. When I went for my first appointment, the lady wanted me to return my Voucher to Groupon and pay her directly which I declined as I didn't think that would be an honest way to do business. After my lash extensions were done I made an appointment for a refill with her three weeks from that day as part of the Groupon I purchased. She even texted me the day before my appointment to remind me of the refill appointment. However, when I went for the refill she said that they don't do refill after three weeks. I told her that 1) it had not been more than three weeks, 2) She knew I was coming and she should have told me if she did not want to honor the refill at the time I made the appointment. She then told me that she would ask Groupon to refund ALL my money instead of doing the refill for me because she "does not work for free". Since what she said made no sense to me, I then asked her to text me confirming that she would refund the money to me, which she did (I kept this as a proof of record). She then took out a $100 bill from a drawer and said that she would just give me the cash. The action obviously contradicted what she repeatedly said that she "does not work for free". I was now even more confused. Before I even touched/accepted the money, she said that she was going to call the police on me. Call the police for what? I then realized that she was trying to trick me into something. I told her again that I purchased the Groupon with Refill therefore she should honor the service. She said that she had stopped participating in Groupon because she was paid too little. Well, I purchased the Groupon while she was with Groupon. Therefore she is responsible to honor the contracted service. Needless to say, I wasted my time going there the second time. The whole experience was such an insult to me as a customer and it is not acceptable. I would give this merchant zero stars if I could. Avoid Luxury Lashes at all cost! read more

Elena is amazing. I was hesitant to come at first because i used to get my eyelashes done quite frequently and tried so many different places and it not only is addicting but it was expensive and took a lot of time; or some eyelashes were awful quality etc. When i decided to try Elena's services it was because a friend of mine had such beautiful lashes and i would always compliment them how natural and beautiful they looked . Once i finally tried luxury lashes with Elena i was beyond impressed and i have been coming back. The lashes are amazing they last so long; look unbelievable and the best part is she is such an expert she does it in a timely fashion while still being a perfectionist (i used to hair having to wait forever while getting this done). I have been through so many other eyelash extension places and have always had something to worry about whether it be how long they last, quality, material, etc. and there is nothing at all i can complain about with Elena and luxury lashes. The actual location and inside the store is also beautifully designed which she did all by her herself. you can tell she really cares about her business; her people, and making everyone feel comfortable with high end solutions and beautiful vibes. Elena has also been very nice with my schedule; i work far away and have a demanding inconsistent job and travel schedule, and she has been so kind to understand and reschedule with me. I highly recommend going here and at least giving it a try seriously.
