Came here looking for a quality installer for tint and PPF and I'm glad to have found this place. Not only were the staff professional and welcoming, their services were top quality and pricing was fair and reasonable. By far one of the best installers for those located in the East Bay. I had my window tint done here initially and was so impressed with the results I choose to have my PPF done here knowing the end result will be quality. As someone who is very meticulous with details, these are people that share that mindset and will take great care of your car. Would gladly come back for their services as a repeat customer. read more

I had a great experience with Lux Tint, giving me a ceramic coat and window tinting. They gave me a discount for doing both of the services and did a wonderful job on my vehicle. They also went above and beyond helping me put new emblems on my vehicle and detailing the inside without asking. I'm really thankful to Drew and the owner for working with me throughout the process and they were really easy to work with. thank you Lux tint and I will be back! read more

Customer service was good. Very friendly and honest. The quality of workmanship is great! I'll definitely refer them and use them again.

The owner makes sure things works out. Great customer service and craftsmanship. They will self initiate to redo the tinting if it is not to their own standards. Owner is very responsive and patient to explain and update the customer on situation. Will definitely be back when for tinting another vehicle. read more

I was looking to get ceramic tint for my Chevy Bolt. Lux was very easy to communicate with and was able to give me a quote pretty quickly and scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, Drew was my technician. I had an idea of what level of tint I wanted, and I brought pictures. He helped me to decide what was most appropriate based on what I was looking for. He did a great job with the tint, and I'm very pleased with the service. I would highly recommend this business. read more

I had a mixed experience at this tint shop. When I first arrived for my appointment, the worker didn't seem very welcoming and immediately asked what I wanted without much acknowledgment. I was shown the tint options, but there wasn't really an explanation of the differences, and no one looked at my vehicle or walked me through what would work best. It felt rushed and like I was inconveniencing them. It felt like I had to do most of the work just to communicate basic information, and that concerns were somewhat dismissed, which felt uneasy when getting a service done. I was given a rough time for when my car would be ready when I asked, but there wasn't clear communication about how I'd be notified until I asked. The worker didn't even have my phone number on file until I brought it up, so if I hadn't asked, I'm not sure how they were expecting to contact me. I ended up calling to check on my car since I hadn't seen any activity, and that's when the owner, Lux who picked up mentioned there were delays since this morning with other vehicles. I completely understand that tinting can be a time-consuming, detail-oriented process and delays can happen, but it would have been appreciated to have clear and respectful communication from the beginning when I arrived especially for an expensive service. After my call, the owner, Lux was very attentive and made sure to follow up when my vehicle was ready, and the tint worker also reached out. Upon pickup, the worker also made a somewhat weird comment regarding timing, which added to the overall uncomfortable experience.Overall, maybe I just had a bad experience with the service worker, and I'm hoping the tint itself turns out fine, but nothing was really explained in terms of information included with my tint install, which felt pretty disappointing for the price and type of service. Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and left me feeling uneasy. A more apologetic and attentive professional approach would have made a big difference. Based on my experience, I would be hesitant to recommend them to others. read more

Thanks to the LuxTint team for providing the best service Ive had for tints in the area! Service was great, insightful suggestions for my needs, and were able to knock out my car pretty quick same day! I had a bad experience with my brand new car at the dealership I bought it from who was supposed to put a ceramic coating on it. To fix my car I reached out to Luxtint and Lux was very knowledgeable and helpful. He offered me solutions and had suggestions to further protect my car. I ended up getting tint, ceramic coating and PPF. Tony did the tint and it looks great. I believe Javier did the rest and it also looks great. I was so nervous to pick up my car after the bad experiences I had at the dealership but it looks amazing! I can't recommended this business enough and know if I have any questions or issues they will help me out. Thank you to the whole LuxTint team! read more

It was a pleasant experience we had with LuxTint. The owner Lux has been responsive, patient and helpful navigating me through service scheduling, options and questions. And we were so lucky to have Tony as our technician offering the tinting service. He explains the difference in options before the service, gives ETA ahead of time, walks through the process on how to take care of it in next few days. The tint looks great and seems to be working nicely as expected! We really appreciate Tony's nice work on my car! The price is competitive in the Bay Area and the service is top level. I also had a friend trying to get the same service and we received immediate response from Lux on the same day. Will definitely recommend LuxTint to my family and friends! read more

I got my tints done a couple weeks ago now and they look amazing. Christian did my tints and he was able to take me in early which was a plus! It only took him about 2 hours, it felt like I was in and out. Honestly wish I went a tad darker in the front but windows still looks great Even though I got the lower end, I think the tints do a pretty good job at blocked out the heat. It was really easy to make an appointment and the owner was nice and very understanding. read more

LuxTint team's work and services were amazing. Before I arrived, Lux provided great insight on the quality of various Tint's like XPEL & many others. When I arrived for the install date, they explained everything again before they started and just did an amazing and their recommendation was just right especially since I had white leather interior, and so I actually needed a darker shade of tint. Their overall work was superb from their high level attention to details to their work quality really showed in the end result. These guys check all the boxes! I'm impressed by their communication and how they ensure you receive VIP treatment, even though I'm not a VIP. You can totally trust these guys when it comes to quality work, leaving your vehicle overnight, getting all your questions answered, and having nothing hidden. The owner and his team ensured everything went smoothly from start to finish. I really appreciate how they take the time to message and call you, as well as send photos to keep you updated on the progress of your vehicle, which gave me peace of mind. Long story short, the old tint that the previous owner installed required more work to remove and was very difficult to take off, placing me at #2 for the worst tint removal experiences lol. However, Lux and his team managed it all and ensured the job was done without compromising on quality. A shout-out to Preston for staying past his work hours just to get the job done! Overall, I am very happy with the tint and the service provided by LuxTint! read more

Took my car in July. I had a bunch of questions about tint. I left a message on yelp and Lux replied within minutes. He answered all my questions. Upon arrival Preston greeted me and checked me in. I brought my brand new BMW X3M50 to LuxTint for window tinting and a full XPEL PPF wrap on the front parts, and overall, I'm very happy with the result. With any detailed work, a few small areas needed follow-up after the initial wrap -- totally understandable with something as precise as PPF. What really impressed me was how Lux (the owner) and Javier (who did the actual work) handled it. They were incredibly gracious, patient, and accommodating, and they reworked the areas that needed extra attention without hesitation. Their professionalism, customer service, and pride in their work really stood out. They clearly care about doing the job right, and that gave me a lot of confidence in their shop. The car looks fantastic now -- exactly how I hoped it would. I'm even thinking about bringing it back to go a shade darker on the window tint -- I trust they'll help me get it just right. Really good service and tint application. Really good service and tint application. Really good service and tint application.

I went to LuxTint to get window tinting and Paint Protection Film (PPF) on my car. They were very helpful and explained the different tints and how they work. For the PPF they talked me through the different options and recommend PPF for the front and ceramic "wax" on the rest of the car. I like that they didn't try to upsell me unnecessarily and that everyone who worked there seemed to be enthusiastic and proud of their work. The tint is perfect, and the PPF is also perfect. The ceramic coat on the rest of the car looks really nice. Even my mother in law noticed the paint looked better (and we didn't tell her what we did). read more

We got clear PPF for the full front of our new Tesla and tinted the windows. The car looks great with the tint, but most of all it stays cooler. The PPF was also well done. They hide the edges well and there's zero difference except the protection it'll hopefully bring for years to come. Most of all, I really appreciate the Superior customer service from Lux, the owner. He held our hands throughout the whole process, patiently educating us on the different options, materials, etc. so we could make an informed decision.
