She came in for only a few seconds, said she would prescribe antibiotics and steroids, and left. I expected her to return to explain the diagnosis and treatment plan, but she never came back. We left without a clear explanation. Only later, from the discharge paperwork, I saw that antibiotics and a steroid cream had been prescribed. I was very concerned and went to Los Robles ER for a second opinion. The ER physician actually examined my son thoroughly, including his arms, legs, abdomen, and overall skin, and diagnosed contact dermatitis. The ER physician also advised that the medications prescribed by urgent care were not appropriate for his condition. As a parent, I found this visit rushed, dismissive, and unacceptable. A child with a sudden rash should be properly examined, and a parent should be given a clear diagnosis and explanation before antibiotics and steroids are prescribed.

I was promptly taken back into a room and both Julio and Richard Gregory (the Physician Assistant) were so thorough, kind, and accommodating. I get very bad anxiety at Urgent Care and I really appreciate the care I received. I was in and out quickly, they really don't waste any time! At the same time, I did not feel rushed in any way. Unfortunately I do have a UTI, and my antibiotics were promptly sent over to my pharmacy. I appreciate how seamless the entire process was, especially when I was already under the weather.

If I had to guess I'd think it was all a ploy to get me to pay out of pocket and have to later fight to get my money back. Gross.

He keeps to his schedule, but if you need more time then he will not rush you. He's been our family physician for over 25 years. His staff is equally kind, courteous and accommodating and efficient. Overall a 10+ office! On Yelp, people are confusing the Urgent Care side (Dr. Vo and staff) with the Moorpark Comprehensive (Dr. Kodama) side. In reading the reviews, try to distinguish between the two.

Our X ray technician Rob was very knowledgeable and made sure my son got the best care while we were there. He made my son feel comfortable and made sure my son understood how to properly care for his arm in between seeing the UC and Ortho. Dr Smith was very thorough in her check up on my son. She went through a mental list of questions to make sure she had a full understanding of the injury. I am thankful for this UC and the care they provided. Thank you.

First off, my appointment was…read morescheduled for 10:45 am, I shows up a few minutes early, there was a walk in waiting, they ended up grabbing her at my appointment time, and then had me wait in the lobby until they finished with her completely. Even though I had a scheduled appointment, but they took me about 20 minutes late. I was coming to get labs done. They left me waiting in the room a few different times. When it was finally time for the girl to do my blood draw, she started asking me if they normally have a hard time drawing my blood, what arm do they usually use, etc. Mind you, she hadn't even seen my arms or veins yet. She finally starts looking for a vein, feels around both arms. She ends up grabbing the nurse practitioner, and has him come look. He poked one arm, but did not manage to get any blood. He ends up sending me to Quest Labs (in another city) to have them draw my blood. The lady there was able to draw it without a second of hesitation because there was no reason for someone not to be able to draw my blood. To make matters less professional, the nurse practitioner replied to every answer I gave him with "That's fair enough." He replied to everything with that line, I'm not even joking. They let me know I would get a call with my results by the end of the week, especially if something was wrong. Well something was wrong, and they did not have the decency to call me as they said they would.

I've now had 2 deeply troubling experiences at this urgent care involving my young daughters, and…read morestrongly encourage parents to think twice before bringing their kids here. On a previous visit for my 2y old's suspected UTI, the "doc" attempted to catheterize her without removing the protective cover, causing her to scream in pain before the mistake was realized. Urine was eventually collected, but after following up at 48 & 72 hours, we were told there wasn't enough urine to perform the culture. My daughter endured a painful procedure, and we were left without the results needed to guide her care. More recently, I brought my other child in for another suspected UTI & collected urine in cup. The "doc" explicitly told me a urine culture and sensitivity test was being sent to the lab, which was also reflected in the patient portal. We waited days for results while my daughter's infection progressed. She is now hospitalized, awaiting IV antibiotics. When I called to follow up, I was told they don't do cultures, only PCR testing. Had I known this during the visit, I would have gone elsewhere to obtain the culture testing her doctors needed. Instead, we waited 72h believing the testing had been done. As a parent, this is frightening and infuriating. You trust medical professionals to accurately explain what testing is being performed so you can make informed decisions about your child's care. Being told one thing while receiving something different is an unacceptable communication and patient-care concern. On top of these concerns, I also experienced rude, unprofessional treatment from the front desk woman when arriving with my sick child. After reading other reviews, I see similar complaints from others. Between the clinical issues, lack of follow-through, and poor treatment of families, I have serious concerns about this practice. I would not trust this facility with my children again.

Without being detailed i can tell you that Dr. Rezai evokes in an exemplary and down to earth manner relevant charachter traits that you might find essential in a good doctor patient relationship. Honesty, integrity, and concern for a patients own wishes and personal feelings, it seems to me are not trivial maters to Doctor Rezai or his dilligent well chosen team of associates. Even when the matter was serious and i brought my mother in, although, Doctor Rezai was not there at the time of that particular visit, it was not a great concern as i was highly impressed by the associate physician who was on duty. Dr. Rezai obviously is a man of who is understanding and skilled in discernment and it is reflected in his choice of asociates and office personnel Furthermore, i came to find out that others among my own close relatives also do use their services and were no less impressed than myself. We were able to get in quickly within 30 minutes of calling the clinic! The clinic is NICE! Everything is brand new and so well designed. It's not your typical medical clinic that's plain walls and cold. There's beautiful artwork (I wish I had gotten a picture) and every room has a screen that will show you X-rays, etc. Dr. Rezai and his assistant were great. His assistant took our son's vitals (even with him squirming everywhere). Dr. Rezai came in shortly after and lo and behold, he had a double ear infection. Dr. Rezai called in a prescription and we were able to pick it up right after we left the clinic. We will definitely be back again next time we need to see a doctor!

I just got a "trust me it's ___, go see a specialist" over and over. The worst part is the clinic wasn't even busy. With 1 other patient in the waiting room and a very bored looking receptionist, they spent *maybe* 60 seconds on me. Maybe. Complete waste of my copay, and my time. I will not be coming back.
