The MD I saw who has a bold chip on her shoulder had the nerve to question my use of GLP-1 (granted I was there for a physical only)- Doctors are not supposed to judge patients. It's part of their oath or at least not in front of the patient. They are supposed to have an objective opinion and I wasn't going to her for diet advice. Really not treated nicely and shocked that this MD is still there but I guess that's what you get from an entitled two rate MD. Then my Husband needed a surgical clearance. The same MD and the same attitude. His blood pressure was slightly high because she was a well... let's just say not inviting. No blood pressure issues, no heart problems and was incredibly rude- and pushed a mandatory EKG- why? because it makes more money for unnecessary services that they can bill the insurance company. This is not the 1st but 2nd bad experience here worthy of an investigation of the State Medical Board. Displeased, disheartened that in this day and age that people who take a Hippocratic Oath that they would behave this way. And if you decide to call me, contact me to discuss taking this down, I will file a complaint with Yelp. It's in the hands of the Insurance Company and the State Medical Board for questionable treatment.

Since I had lifted heavy weights the day before, I wasn't sure whether it was muscular or something related to my heart. The team performed an EKG and blood work, which were initially normal. Before I left, Dr. Kacker took the extra time to listen to my heart and lungs again and told me that if I had any pain that night, I should go straight to the ER, but if I did not, I should return the following morning for a repeat EKG. I returned the next morning, and the second EKG again showed no heart issues. When the blood work came back normal as well, it confirmed the pain was from a strained muscle and not my heart. I truly felt cared for by everyone there. The staff was thorough, professional, and compassionate, and I am very grateful for the excellent care I received. I highly recommend WVUC.

They were not ready to close. The doctor walked my wife out to that same desk with all the young women, and in overhearing what the doctor was saying to my wife & the doctor's demeanor, there was no smile, no "warm" conversation with any compassion, and my wife was no-doubt a waste of their time. In all the urgent cares that we have been to in both of our lives, we've never experienced such a cold, abrasive atmosphere as Exer Urgent Care - Westlake Village. After several days had gone by, I had to call them regarding the bill & our insurance. The young woman on the phone gave the same cold, abrasive attitude, as if she was being bothered. As I said earlier, these women need to get jobs that they like. We never went back there, and will never go there again. We went to another urgent care in the meantime, and they were all very friendly, polite, professional, and sincerely sympathetic about why we were there. The doctor was very warm & friendly.
