They kept adding prices and new things to it when enough was enough and I reached out to Matt with Hospitality Butler. Immediately Matt took the time to call me while he was in an airport after a conference to just help me out. Miraculously, my wedding date was free at the venue he works with and I was thankful to get it. Matt has been so calming. Understanding. And handled every bump and hurdle with grace. On the day of, Erica and Tory helped us out and when I say they were superheroes? I so mean it. They must have some kind of super power. Erica took everything head on and was able to get stuff done, looking beautiful, and handle any and every last minute situation like it was nothing (when I'm sure secretly it was stressful as all get out.) Tory was the sweetest person ever. She was so willing to just be there, do anything asked, no complains or issues ever. She had this power to be a calming presence and was so amazing beginning to end. Seriously they are the most amazing team of people I've ever met. They save our wedding to become the most magical day for us. We're so thankful and we can't gush enough. Thank you Matt, Erica, and Tory; for everything. We love you guys! -The Burgesses.

Not to mention, Brandi is responsive, accommodating, considerate, and incredibly kind. She was punctual, and supplied everything we needed. The colors were exactly on theme with what I sent to her and she even remembered I wanted gold accents. Her partner, Cher Taylor, was also a lovely person to work with in addition to being an excellent chef (the banana chocolate chip muffins were the best I've ever had). We had a few people with dietary restrictions and Taylor crafted a menu with something for everyone - all of it delicious! We had leftovers to last us through the rest of the weekend. I'm so grateful to have worked with both of these women to make my sisters bachelorette so fun and so so special. Highly highly recommend the Gathering Picnic!

Parking was not an issue as we were there early enough to park right outside the building. There's also a parking garage that's right beside it. I don't know the parking cost. Unfortunately, no one ever opened the doors for the event. A bunch of us had to call customer service to find out the event was cancelled without notifying us. I can't comment on the inside of the building other than what I saw from the doors. The grounds weren't kept well and it was off putting to see trash, people's dirty socks and a homeless persons sleeping arrangement right at the entrance door. I understand people are just doing the best they can but when people are paying for these tickets the area should be clean. Our group decided we won't return to this venue and will look for the show in another area.

I attended a wedding at this venue, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely unpleasant and…read moreuncomfortable. Throughout the wedding, there was a woman repeatedly walking back and forth throughout the venue. She walked in and out of rooms, walked around during speeches across the floor, and was constantly present in areas where guests and members of the bridal party were getting ready. Several of us noticed her and felt as though we were being watched. We eventually learned that she was a worker for the venue and was not someone the couple had hired to assist with their wedding. So everyone was confused !! What was especially concerning was the extent to which she appeared to involve herself in the wedding. She was observed looking through windows and doors while members of the bridal party were changing, handling personal belongings, looking inside food pans, pouring out the couple's beverages, and moving items and table setups without permission. At one point, she was seen looking into the bridal suite, which understandably caused everyone to become very uncomfortable and concerned about the couple's privacy because no one knew how long she was standing there watching. Guests should be able to attend a wedding without feeling like they are being monitored or having their personal belongings and arrangements handled by venue staff without permission. The situation became so uncomfortable that guests were whispering among themselves and trying to understand what was happening. Eventually, some people began leaving because the atmosphere had become awkward and uncomfortable. What should have been a beautiful and memorable celebration for the couple instead became a stressful experience. I understand that venues have rules and employees have responsibilities, but there is a difference between appropriately managing a venue and repeatedly interfering with a private wedding. The couple deserved to enjoy their special day without this level of disruption. Based on my experience as a guest, I would not recommend this venue.
